a true five-star hotel

Posted May 6, 2014
Everything in this hotel was top-notch. The room, the bathroom, the mattress (Vi-Spring!) - everything. Even little things were arranged to make the stay more enjoyable, like the free Wi-Fi and a power adapter for non-British plugs. The location is very good - the neighborhood is mostly residential, so there are no noisy crowds under the windows even on weekend nights, but quite a few restaurants are a block or two away. A tube station (Marble Arch) is also very close. We did not have their breakfast, but found a very good place just two blocks away.

Elegant boutique hôtel on quiet street.

Pros: Really comfortable beds and clean facilities. Service and amenities are very well thought out.
Cons: Had to request the same item from Housekeeping a few times. The food selection and quality of the hotel restaurant could be a bit better.
Location: Quiet and convenient location. Not many choices of restaurants in immediate area but near by.
I thought the hotel was very elegant and clean. It was nice to come back to a comfortable bed and clean room. Free wi-fi and not having to worry about bringing a converter/transformer is a plus. Hotel staff were warm and friendly. If they step up their concierge services a bit, the hotel would be absolutely superb!

Ideally situated, excellent choice.

Pros: My husband and I enjoyed the quiet, so close to Oxford Street, but rooms are sound proof.
Cons: We were somewhat disappointed by the fact that we stayed for seven nights and although there were empty rooms in mid-January, we were told that an up
Location: Bus and tube stops are two streets away. Supermarket is also close walk. Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Oxford Street are less than five minutes away.
Hotel is small, dignified, quiet, secure located two streets from Marble Arch. Quality bedding, comfortable room, if rather small, free mini bar, very helpful staff. Completely wi-fied.

Calm oasis in the centre of London

Posted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: Great service
Location: A short walk from Marble Arch tube and Oxford Street
We only stayed one night but were impressed by the level of service from every member of staff with whom with came into contact. Nothing was too much trouble, from showing us how everything worked and ensuring that we were comfortable in our room, looking up underground routes for us to lending us an umbrella when we ventured out into the rain. The room was very comfortable and we did not want to leave it next day - the slightly later departure time than is usual was most welcome It was also so quiet which, for a hotel in central London, was a surprise

Lovely smallish hotel just off Marble Arch, fantastic service, beautiful rooms, received upgrade for only £26 extra to an Executive Room for our overnight stay to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Great location and friendly staff and great hotel.
