“Great London Hotel with Great Location!”
What a great place to stay - you walk outside with busy streets and parks all around you. Only a short walk to the Underground and great restaurants only a few short blocks away. The room was great, especially the non-fog mirror in the bathroom!
“Very good hotel”
Hotel was very convenient. Had a park view room, which had adequate space and nice view. Bed was very comfortable and room had all amenities. Location is convenient to everything. Walking distant to Green Park tube station and sightseeing. Very close to lots of activities. The only bad thing was hotel food - very bad.
“Incredible Hotel!”
This hotel was beautiful, clean, had excellent service and was in a great location. Incredible! We'll definitely stay here again when we go back to London.
“Not impressed”
I chose the hotel because of the Expedia reviews. The location is indeed great. However, the room was pretty basic and lacked character. The room was on a low floor and faced an industrial-looking view of the courtyard with the sky somewhere high-up. No complaints about the service. People at the reception were rather neutral but the concierge was very helpful in various ways. Eugene, Moscow

“Very Impressed”
This hotel is everything that a London hotel should be -- from the charming doorman, to the very helpful staff, to the rooms themselves. We were invited to the manager's cocktail party during our stay, which was a great touch. There is not a bad thing to say about this hotel. Have stayed in other hotels around London, and this is a favorite. The neighborhood was great, too -- an easy walk to the Palace, and to shopping.
“My third or fourth visit”
The only thing I would like better is to have windows that open!
“Great location and Jim is awesome!”
The best part of this hotel is the friendly doorman, Jim. He always remembers your name and is very friendly. He was great. The conceirge was also helpful. Overall, I loved the hotel with one exceptions. There is no plugin in the bathroom for a hairdryer or curling iron. I was told that in the UK they aren't allowed to put them in the bathrooms. However there was a small voltage plug for a mans shaver. I was ok with doing my hair in the bedroom, except they didn't make it easy for a lady to use the appliances in the bedroom either. No desk with a mirror/plugin. I ended up working around a picture on the wall that covered a wall mirror. I had to bend or sit on the floor to use it. Not what I'd expect from a hotel rated 5. When asked how women in the UK do their hair in such a situation, we were told that UK women were a "tough lot" and make due. Funny, except it didn't help us do our hair. The architect was obviously didn't consider female travelers needs.
“excellent hotel”
Very impressed. For a 5 star hotel price was very reasonable. Up to date amenities. Flat screen TV, Towel warming rake, bedside control for lighting and room temperature and ipod base. Very courteous employees. Hotel lobby simple but very pleasant and relaxing.
“Top Drawer”
Recently refurbished, hotel has all the desirable amenities of lodging twice the price but appealing location across from Green Park and unpretentious lobby make this a fine understated alternative.
