“Excellent location, room had drawbacks, very accomodating, but not knowledgeable”
Location 2 blocks from National Museum, casual dinining and the tube. Fulfilled request for "garden view" room, but room had no dresser for clothes. Had to live out of suitcases. Staff was very friendly and tried to be accomodating, but not that knowledgeable about the city. Used Google frequently on guest computer in the lobby.
“Perfect for a quick trip to London”
Stayed here for one night on layover to another destination. The hotel was easy to get to via the Underground and near museums and restaurants. Big room, but not the newest or most modern property. Very functional. Nice staff.
“Almost a good hotel”
Overall it was fine, but there were lots of little bits and pieces that were slightly "off." Like the laundry detergent over the carpet in the hallway, the excessive price for a cold breakfast buffet (17 GBP), no facility to print a boarding pass, and the hairdryer attached to the desk nowhere near the bathroom. The room was very comfortable and you can't beat the Russell Square location, but it seems like Management doesn't quite have it all together just yet.
“Stay here!!”
We arrived a few hours early, and the staff was very friendly, allowing us to leave our baggages with them where they were stored safely while we went to get lunch and they prepared our room. when we got back to check in, we were told our room had been upgraded from a 1 bed 2 room en suite to a 2 bed with no extra room...we didn't really see this as an upgrade, but the room was comfortable and immaculate. the following day at check out they allowed us to leave our baggage while we did a little more sight seeing before heading back. i would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in london. it's super close to the british museum and russell square.
“a quaint retreat”
This hotel is exactly what it claims to be....a boutique style establishment with warmth. My only complaint is the lack of internet access unless it is paid for. Even in the hotels alleged "business center' you still had to purchase time in order to use the internet.
“Great stay; would go back again anytime”
The Beauchamp was a perfect place to say in Bloomsbury near the British Museum and Soho/Covent Garden area. The hotel is small and very clean, and we were very comfortable in it. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite on arrival, which had a fantastic courtyard view from our windows, including a view of the British Museum. The staff was very helpful in recommending local restaurants too, in addition to answering other questions we had. All in all, we had a fantastic time at the Beauchamp and hope to return soon.

Wonderful location, very very comfortable, large rooms. One of the best hotels I ever was in, in London.
“Bloomsbury Best Buy”
Great location; quiet street and very close to the Russell Square tube station. My room was small (traveling alone) but it had everything I needed and it was quite modern and comfortable; also looked out on a beautiful garden. The breakfast was Ok but not worth the extra price, but otherwise the service was great (they gave me an adapter when I forgot mine, for example). I would definitely go back (although probably spring for a bigger room!)

Really cute hotel. Very nice at the desk... room service menu could be improved a bit. Small rooms but that's usual for London. At least they were decorated beautifully and everything was clean.
