“Best Hotel for Short Stay in London”
The location can't be beat, and the breakfasts are great. A comfortable, quiet hotel that's located on Jermyn Street. Just far enough away from Piccadilly to make you feel a world away.
“5 stars”
My wife and I have stayed here several times and have never had a complaint. The location is great, the staff very helpful. The food has always been very good, though w did not eat in their restaurant this time.
“Great hotel.”
Comfortable but small room. Pleasant and efficient staff. Restaurant...needs work.
“'' London's best hotel ''”
I recently stayed at the Cavendish Hotel on Jermyn St in London . I must say I was very impressed with the hotel service. The room was a bit small but the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and both my husband found the location to be perfect within walking distance to all the major attractions. I can't wait to go back and stay there .
“"Accomodating and Friendly"”
This was our first trip to London and we were impressed with the staff and facilities. Yes the rooms were small but for our purposes (sleep and shower), they were priced right and very clean. The location is Central London and the hotel is within walking distance to many of the sites we were interested in experiencing. I would recommend this to those who do not mind smaller rooms than those found in the big chain hotels as the staff was quite accomodating and delivered on everything they said they would do. I would go back to the Cavendish again on our next trip to London.
“excellent, in the middle ok London”
GREAT HOTEL, IN THE MIDDLE OF LONDON, INCREDIBLE VIEW OF LONDON. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND WELL FURNISHED.
“Will definitely stay in this hotel next time in London, which I hope is very soon.”
This is one of the best, if not the best, hotels I have ever stayed in in a large city. Staff was wonderful....friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Location is wonderful. In the week my husband and I were there we used the tube twice (because we had probably walked ten miles that day and just had it). Walking to the theaters in the West End is about 10 minutes.....Covent Garden about 15, and the National Theater is about a twenty minute walk. National Gallery also about a ten minute walk. Piccadilly area is great for shopping and browsing...right around the corner from the Burlington and Piccadilly Arcade. I can't wait to go back!
“Completely Satisfied”
My wife and I could not have been more satisfied with this hotel for our one night stay in London. The location is within a short walking distance to many of the major attractions. Joe at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. This hotel experience left us with a good first time impression of London.
“I´d like to stay there again”
The hotel is very good, excelent location, we only use the subway 2 times ( to the Tower of London and to Kensigton Gardens / Knightsbridge) , and we spent 6 nights there. We walked all city and the hotel is near Soho, New Bond Street, Piccadilly, Covent garden ( 15 min), Oxford Circus(15min), etc. The price was more that we intended to spend, but the confort, the attention of the persons that work there and the breakfast were great! The room is good, the Bed excellent, only that the Bathroom is a little bit small. I´ll recommend this hotel.
“Loved Staying at the Cavendish!!”
We loved staying at the Cavendish. It was a perfect location, for us, in London, close to SoHo, Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus, as well as Green and Hyde Parks. and within a 10 min. walk of Buckingham Palace. Convenient to all the top London sites, really. There were lots of great pubs within a block, as well as the Fortnum and Mason store. Also quick access to the tube and bus routes. We found the hotel itself to be awesome. Staff helpful and courteous. We had a Superior Double for our four night stay, and while the room itself was a bit small (not unusual for Europe), the bathroom was large, and our views were great! We did only eat the breakfast, which was included with our room rate, one morning, as it was a circus trying to get a table, but also had room service one morning, which was included as well. We found this to be the better option. We will definitely stay at the Cavendish should we ever find ourselves in London again.
