Brilliant hotel

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Arrived early. No problem with storing our stuff. Hotel is right on the River Thames in a harbour. Stunning location with great views from the restuarant/bar area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem for them. Parking is expensive if you use the hotel valet (£40 per night). I parked in the NCP which is 100 yards around the corner (£15 per night). At first hotel appears to be out of the centre and away from the main London attractions, Well the tube station is just around the corner or do what we did (family of four) take a taxi. It costs £10-£12 to get to Harrods so not too bad when you consider how much the tube return journey would be for family of four. Anyway, great hotel, great service, great room and great food. Swimming pool great and very child friendly (No swimming time restrictions for kids). I had a spa treatment which was great - bit expensive though. The walk to the Spa is a bit untidy and needs updating but dont let that put you off as the spa is lovely and pool clean. Changing rooms very clean and modern! They just need to brighten up the approach/lift to it.

Nice hotel.... Breakfast not so good!

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Hotel was decent, staff friendly and welcoming. The mattress in the bed needed replacing, it was much lower on either side! Also the English breakfast was very oily and poor value at over £25 each! We left our phone charger in the room, which they kindly agreed to post to us.... However they did initially request a payment for postage, but quickly changed their minds once I queried it!

Awesome stay at Chelsea Harbour Hotel

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Restaurant, rooms, location, staff
Cons: Very poor internet access. We could only get Wi-fi in one corner of the room. Also, the quality of the beds is average.
Location: Right on Thames river with a little inlet harbor at the hotel. Exclusive upscale location of Chelsea. 15-20 min to get into heart of London.
We booked 1 week at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We have special vegetarian diet restrictions, and the head chefs met with us personally and custom prepared an Indian breakfast for each morning. Unbelievable food and the most friendly staff. Hats off to the concierges who helped us tremendously with all the sites we wanted to see. They even helped us prepare for our Paris stay (our next destination) as one of the concierge staff was from Paris. Location is excellent on the Thames river. Very, very upscale location. You can even see some very high price vehicles parked in the parking garage. Imperial Wharf station was across the street from the hotel and downtown London was only 15-20 min away.

Nice part of Chelsea, far from city center

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: The pool and the hotel reception
Location: The overground was closed during our stay which made travel very difficult, long walk to nearest tube.
The facilities like the gym and pool were excellent and well maintained. The balcony's in selected rooms are overlooking a train station, not exactly picturesque. Lovely breakfast, staff very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with a great view of London

The hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The staff was helpful, the food was delicious in both the restaurant and room service and the ease to get into and out of downtown London was great.

Superb

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Having the included breakfast on the harbor every morning was lovely. The food was five star. The room was super clean and comfortable.
Cons: I am a very picky traveler and really nothing could be improved here, just excellent.
Location: Near the overground so you can connect to the underground and get anywhere. Chelsea is a safe beautiful neighborhood with lots of shops, and eateries
Everything was five star. The room was comfortable, very clean, and quiet. The food was excellent. The staff was helpful and nice. Location was good.

Great hotel if the location works for you

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Cons: We wandered in the dark trying to find the place - please put decent signs on Imperial Rd. and Lots Rd., and maybe even at Fulham Broadway tube.
Location: Five blocks away, lots of terrific restaurants, shops, pubs. Harbour, art gallery, and supermarket adjacent.
Big, comfortable suite, well appointed and well laid out for use by two adults and two teens. Espresso machine, robes, all the perks. Amazing breakfast - a real highlight, with lavish offerings of exotic fruit and berries, smoked fish, cheeses, fresh-baked bread, pastries and hot choices, along with harbour view and great service. Good neighbourhood for runners and walkers. Easy access to the 391 bus to Fulham Broadway, West Kensington, and Hammersmith, if the Imperial Wharf train doesn't serve your needs. Wasn't sure from the photos if the suite would hold all four of us - it was much better than expected (which suggests the photos could stand updating...).
