Super hotel in leafy Kensington

Posted Feb 23, 2015
I only spent one night in this marvellous little hotel and no doubt when the opportunity arises I will be there again. I was particularly impressed with staff at the hotel and the cozy ambience. Highly recommended medium priced hotel in a lovely part of London.

Very average for an above average price

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Just very average overall given the price of the accommodation. Room is ok size but nothing special decor wise, bathroom tired and dated. English Breakfast not really worth the additional £8 if I'm honest.

Comfortable hotel in a great neighborhood

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Boutique hotel, good location, good staff
Cons: Water faucet was a bit tricky- trying to get that cold water on!
Location: Great variety of resturants and bars nearby.
Rooms vary in size, so be aware of which room option you choose especially if you don't like small rooms. The bedding was luxurious, with duvet, (my stay was in November). Great location near restaurants and walking distance to the Underground station.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Die Lage
Cons: Alles gut

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Der Service
Cons: eigentlich nicht. Die Enge beim Frühstück ist durchaus ertragbar
Location: Kensington, Gloucester-Road-Underground-Station nah.

Koselig hotell, litt dyrt?

Posted Oct 13, 2014 on Hotels.com

Excellent Boutique hotel close to everything

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: It's intimacy, not a chain hotel.
Cons: Not much. The wi fi in the rooms can be spotty at times.
Location: Convenient for all the sites in London, nearbye museums, close to the tube stations, easy to find taxis and great restaurants and shops within easy wa
Have stayed in the Cranley many times. We find it an excellent boutique hotel, more like a home away from home in the heart of Kensington. The staff are greta and friendly and make your stay as stress free as possible.

Great hotel but don't stay in the lower level

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Although I had made a clear request not to stay in the lower level of the hotel when I booked my room, the hotel ignored it and called it an upgrade. Within the room you can here everyone walking above you, everyone outside the hotel, and when there are smokers outside the smell carries inside room. Despite repeated requests to move me, the hotel manager ignored them all and cited being fully booked. On my last evening there the room had a sewer scent to it and nothing helped rid the smell except having to turn the air conditioning to full. It was a choice to freeze or vomit. Don't stay in room 505. I have stayed in this hotel numerous times on the upper floors and had a super experience. I hope that on future stays, they listen to their guests. On the plus side, the WiFi is good, the breakfast is delicious, and the concierge staff are very nice.
