“A good family-run hotel, not fancy but convenient to tube lines, nice people...”
I liked this place and would go back. It's not a fancy place, but it is family run by Indians and the people are very nice and cooperative. Their standard breakfast got a bit boring after several days (one fried egg, bacon, white toast, sausage, baked beans, terrible coffee), but the place is comfortable, fairly quiet, and a 5-minute walk to Hounslow West tube stop that is only two stops from Heathrow Airport. Leave 3/4 hour to get to downtown London on the tube. At the end, when the taxi to Heathrow was not going to come for a half hour, the owner gave me a ride to the airport. I'd recommend this place. It is also not expensive!

This place was just terrible! it should not be listed on Expedia as a Hotel. It is really a bed and breakfast. I stayed 6 nights - Here are the issues I ran into -- TV - only one channel worked. Breakfast was not acceptable. Kitchen - the ceiling was leaking water onto the kitchen prep table. Bathroom - unsanitary Rugs - It was smelly and not installed properly Physical building - the ceiling was falling apart. Walls and door - paper thin walls and doors, the key hole for door was very large and was able to see right into room. Night time - Loud clanking noise from 1 am to 8 am every night No Phone in room!!!! Are you kidding me! Neighbor was a dump! I would not recommend this for anyone from Expedia. I honestly don't know how anyone would in their right mind consider this place acceptable!

This is more of a flop house than a hotel - not worth even half of what I paid Paint peeling off the walls Ill fitting carpets You have to drag your bags up narrow, poorly lit stairs Obstructed fire escape If you lock your door don't lose your key because you will be locked in your room King mattress on a double sized bed frame

“Firs Hotel”
I started off my 54 day European vacation on June 7th and my first night stay was at the Firs Lodge the staff was amazing very helpful in helping me find transportation to Paris from London the room was neat & clean the hotel sits next to a old church where I had the privilege of seeing my first ever paragon Falcon very close up. a few door's down there is a wonderful Chinese restaurant all in all my experience was wonderful and yes I would recommend the Firs Lodge to a friend or Family member
“Expedia should remove this hotel from its listing”
This is not a hotel!!!! It is somebody's private home. The listing says its three-star. What a joke!!!! The room is dirty and nobody ever cleans it. Everything in the bathroom is leaking. The flush does not work. They do not even have a dedicated phone line. Incomng phone calls are routed through somewhere else and come on the owner's cell phone. Complimentary breakfast is ok at the best. DO NOT book this hotel even if it is the last available accomodation in London!!!!!
