Quiet location, but convenient for central LondonPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: Quiet location, but close to the tube.
Location: Close to Belsize Park tube station where there is a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and banks and Finchley Road shopping.
This guest house is in a very quiet street, but just 5 minutes from the Northern line tube, so you have quick access to central London, especially St Pancras, Euston and Kings Cross stations. There are also good shop, cafes and restaurants in the area itself. The house is very clean and comfortable. Owned by Deepa, who is such a kind, friendly lady who is so helpful. I had to leave before breakfast, but she offered to make a breakfast pack for me to take. There is also a kitchen available for guests to prepare their own food and drinks. My room was in the attic - so small and care is needed for taller guests - but the furnishings are first class and comfortable.

Great location.Posted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: Belsize Park is a lovely shopping area with lovely historic buildings. Great restaurants nearby.
Deepa was very accommodating and it was easy to add another night to our stay. Although we left early on our last morning Deepa still had our breakfast waiting for us.

Great B&B in a nice North London NeighborhoodPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Gardens Guest House is a great B&B located in beautiful neighborhood with lots of cafes and restaurant, close to Tube Station and to a good bus route to Central London (route 168). The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom with separate bathtub and shower was very nice. The owner is extremely helpful and the breakfast with the croissant every morning is really good. The only downside I could think of are the steep stairs to the rooms/

Simply fabulous . . .Posted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had a lovely overnight stay at the Gardens, from the first welcome through to departure. Some lovely touches, like pears from the tree in the garden and a well-appointed guest lounge and dining area. The team know the local area really well, and made a great recommendation for dinner.

A great place to stayPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: breakfast was nice, especially the croissants
Cons: The bed was a little uncomfortable, but beds are a personal preference
Location: The location was nice and close to both places to eat and the Northern line
The hotel is nice location near the northern line tube, close to Camden Town and also very well located for eating, I highly recommend the Turkish restaurant about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

B&B in great locationPosted Jul 30, 2013
This B&B is in a great location, far enough away from the London crowds but close enough to get to anywhere quickly by tube. Deepa was a wonderful hostess. The croissants are amazing!

Fabulous location, good value and wonderful ownerPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Just returned from a wonderful nights stay at the Gardens guest house, close to Belsize tube station and a 10 minute walk to the Roundhouse and 15 mins walk to Camden markets. Deepa, our host was friendly, accommodating and kindly gave us a back bedroom (room number 3) as the rooms at the back are cooler in this current heat wave! Room had a double bed, was clean, well furnished and decorated, even had a fan for us! We had a massive ensuite bathroom with a free standing bath and separate shower cubicle. The beds were sooo comfy, nice pillows, just like being at home, and it was lovely and quiet. didn't expect to sleep as well as we did. The room also had coffee facilities, biscuits and sweets and toiletries, including bubble bath! Downstairs was a shared lounge with a fridge if we wanted to bring in food to eat which is useful to know beforehand if you want to get in some food and save money. There looks to be a great fish and chip shop round the corner that unfortunately we spotted after we'd already eaten. (GBK close to Belsize park tube station, as is Pizza express and Giraffe). Deepa provided a continental breakfast at a time that suited us and ordered in home made croissants on request. Fabulous fresh fruits and coffee, cereals, breads, ham and cheese. It really set us up for the day. At £95 a night in London this place is a dream find and I wouldn't hesitate in choosing to book and stay again if visiting the area.

A lovely place to stay after hectic day in LondonPosted Jul 1, 2013
The owner very kindly agreed to let us arrive after midnight even though we were supposed to arrive by 9.30pm (unknown to us). I think it would be kinder to the owner if it could clearly be stated that she would like guests to arrive by 9.30 pm rather than 'this room will be held until midnight'. She is on her own so I can well understand her frustration at having to stay up late for arrivals. A very nice lady and a delicious breakfast..

You won't find better in London for this pricePosted May 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
In fact, you won't find better in London for double this price. Deepa is a very lovely host, the rooms are great, the internet is very fast, Belsize Park is a lovely location and the smell of a hot croissant in the morning is a superb touch. Recommended.
