Good value in excellent locationPosted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: The size of the room was good for London standards and it was serviced every day.
Cons: We had not slept in a double bed for a while so it took some adjusting.
Location: While the local area is not flash there are many small hotels nearby. We liked it because of its proximity to Kings Cross / St Pancras.
The Harrison is small popular community pub only 10 minutes from Kings Cross/St Pancras station. The pub has a basement for music and comedy shows. The pub had some good priced pub food and an excellent range of beers. There are only 4 rooms above the pub with a climb up two flights of stairs. The breakfasts are excellent. Close by is Russel Street Metro station and a good size shopping centre called The Brunswick only 10 minutes walk away. We used an Oyster travel card for the transport system which was easy to use and also to top up. There is a good tourist information centre in the Kings Cross/ St Pancras station.

Nice hotel walking distance from Kings CrossPosted Jun 14, 2015
The hotel was pleasant; it is above a bar, but from my room I could not hear any bar activities. The entrance was not apparent, and when we were initially dropped off we weren't certain we were in the correct location. However, the staff were very friendly and our stay was wonderful.

Uriges kleines Pub-Hotel mit Wohlfühl-FaktorPosted May 24, 2015
Pros: Service, Atmosphäre, Frühstück, Lage
Location: 3 Minuten Fussweg vom Bahnhof St. Pancras/King's Cross. In der Nähe u.a.

Hotel mit supernetten TeamPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: Der nette Service, das leckere, große Frühstück. Gemütlich, urig eingerichtetes Zimmer. Nah gelegen an der Undergroundstation King`s Cross
Location: In der Nähe von King`s Cross/St.Pancras. Somit gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrmittel.

Weekend in LondonPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: The fact that it is above a lively pub on a rugby weekend in London was a real asset to my trip.
Location: Very convenient for St Pancras station, access to the underground and a multitude of bars and restaurants all in walking distance
This is not a real hotel, but a nice set of rooms above a pub that has live music and good food, a little bit of heaven for a very relaxing weekend. That said, since the pub closes and the patrons were well behaved, it was ideal for me.

Great value and excellent breakfastPosted Mar 25, 2015 on Hotels
Comfortable room. Even though above the pub, it was a quiet room as it was 3 floors up. No lift, so if you have a lot of luggage or struggle with stairs then this may be a problem. Excellent breakfast which started my day off very well. Great value

Quirky and comfortablePosted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Quiet, comfy and clean
Cons: The price?
Location: It's a *very* short walk from King's Cross/St. Pancras, and also very close to the British Library which is worth a visit
I mostly chose this hotel because (a) it has a room with a bath, (b) it's really a bar/pub, not a hotel, so it has a more homely feel about it with actual radiators and actual windows that open (!), and (c) I heard the breakfast was amazing. The first of these two things were certainly true, plus the bed was super comfy and the room was clean and well-stocked with tea & coffee. I would, however, say that the breakfast was overrated by other visitors. It was just a full English, nothing more, nothing less. And it's expensive, but I guess that's because of the location? It is fantastically close to King's Cross/St. Pancras.
