Location, location, location!Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The location was great. The restaurant was also very nice. I loved that we could open the windows!
Cons: I never did figure out how to open the refrigerator! I hated that the bathroom is immediately off the bedroom, with no hallway or space in between.
Location: Loved the location of the Kensington...such a nice area of London and very convenient to everything. Several museums are just a few minutes walk away
I went from Heathrow on the Piccadilly Line Tube to South Kensington, and an easy 5 minute walk to the hotel. Check-in was very speedy and the Receptionist was very pleasant. The lobby and reception are very nice. I eventually found my room, (# 302), having navigated a rabbit-warren of extremely narrow corridors, hallways and random stairs. There were several housekeeping carts in the hallways and I had to squeeze past them, whilst trying to manage my suitcase as well. Although the room is nicely appointed, I was disappointed at how small it is. It really should just be a single room. As my stay was for only 3 nights, I let it go, but I really think room 302 should not be classified as a Superior Double. The staff were all friendly and nice, especially Elise at Reception, and all of the concierges were great.

Lovely hotel & staffPosted Jul 4, 2014
A great hotel a short walk to The Royal Albert Hall, the main reason for my stay. Staff were all pleasant and friendly. Drinks in the bar were good with complimentary nibbles. Hotel facilities and cleanliness were brilliant. Nice turn down service with chocolates, juice & information for the next days weather. The bed was a little squeaky which disturbed sleep when moving.

Friendly staff, lovely hotelPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Great location.
Location: A lovely area of London full of Cafes and the best Museums in London. Try the Hummingbird Bakery. South Kensington Tube is very close.
We were greeted by very friendly accommodating staff who did everything they could to help us check in a little early as we had to be out at an appointment for 2pm. The hotel facilities are top Quality and we got a small tour of the refurbishments from a friendly bartender while the room was being sorted. The room was a little on the small side but excellent value for money as I booked in a hotel sale through Expedia. I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel and its location to cafes and museums (and south Kensington Tube).

Incredible staff, beautiful hotel, peaceful localePosted Jun 26, 2014
Stayed here four nights. Most caring staff I have ever experienced. Injured myself while on my trip and max the concierge was so helpful and concerned. Check in staff was incredible, took great interest in our trip and made several changes to our reservation to make our stay more enjoyable. Great stay. Would recommend to all!

Comfortable hotel in good locationPosted May 24, 2014
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Probably nothing once the work in the dining room has been completed.
Location: Close to museums and South Kensington tube station.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good comfortable hotel in a nice area close to South Kensington tube station. Some work taking place in the dining room at the moment (due to complete by the end of June) so breakfast currently served in bar and lounge areas. Also some noise from the work could be clearly heard in our room which was above the dining room area. This wasn't really a problem to us as we didn't plan to have a lie in anyway but I guess it could be a problem to some. Overall a nice stay and we will return if we want a hotel in this area of London again.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and it will not be the last. Nice clean rooms, great staf, tasty breakfast, great location, and lot of positive vibes. Am so happy to stay at this hotel, when in London, this is my address.
