Awesome hotel, awesome location.Posted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: The room, the atmosphere, small and personal while being professional and very well run.
Location: 5 minutes walk to Selfridges, House Of Fraser, John Lewis on Oxford St. Marylebone is 5 minutes away, Bars & restaurants Mayfair & Piccadilly - 10mins
The hotel is a stones throw from Oxford Street, well placed for bars & restaurants of Mayfair and Piccadilly. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. The room was fab. Spacious, luxurious and like a little home from home. We arrived really early (11.00) and were able to check in which was a bonus. The bathroom had Gilchrist & Soames toiletries which are lush, lovely robes & slippers. Nespresso machine was great when we got back from shopping for a good quality in room coffe which beats any instant. The Reform Bar & Social had a good breakfast and the afternoon tea and evening meal menus looked good although we didn't eat here. Wine & bar list were extensive with a good cocktail selection. We couldn't have asked for more, it was great value and I'd definately visit again.

perfect for shopping, nightlife, eateriesPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: location location location
Location: shopping, new bond st, oxford st, selfridges etc and masses of eateries all 2 mins away so for me was excellent
came down on business and was extremely pleased with location, perfect for shopping & lots of food & drinks on the doorstep. Only 2 stops from Gatwick Express. Room was smallish but fine for my needs, lovely shower. Only downside was no tea making facilities (London must live on Coffee). to be fair didnt use any other facilities but all seemed nice & helpful.

Excellent choice w/minor issuesPosted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location, friendly staff both in hotel and restaurant (great bar w/ excellent staff). Very nice, comfortable room. Had connection issues with the free wifi and the tv kept going in and out. Also.. No shower curtain so water gets everywhere when you take a shower. All minor issues for me. I would definitely stay there again if a good deal comes up.

Great Hotel in Great LocationPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked the Mandeville mainly because of the location near to Oxford Street and Hyde Park. On arrival and without asking I was told that my room had been upgraded from deluxe to a junior suite, the room number 424 was of a good size had 2 TV's with a seperate lounge area. The bathroom had a shower cubicle and a bath with a shower, also a mirror with a hot zone that did not mist up. The bed was quite large and very comfortable, the room had air conditioning which worked very well on one of the hottest day's of the year. I used the Hotel's restaurant for an evening meal and found the food to be very good, breakfast was not included in the price and was a little pricey but offered a good choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was offered a discount voucher for parking in the public car park - which can be very expensive. Will definitely use this hotel again.
