Nice pleasing hotel at very good pricePosted Jan 6, 2015
Cons: if possible Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Location: It is close enough to London and there are many stations close by to get to London and other places.
This is my second time. If you have a car around Hounslow and the surroundings, a great place to stay at very reasonable prices. Now, they have good Wi-Fi connection in the lobby and the staff are very pleasant.

Conveniently close to the airportPosted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Clean crisp linen. Plentiful, fast flowing hot water. Good value for London.
Cons: Sound proofing against aircraft noise. The hotel is directly under the final approach to the airport, so aircraft noise is intrusive.
Location: The airport.
It was ideal for staying the night before meeting someone at the airport without the fear of being stuck in traffic on the M25.

prima verblijf voor londonse begrippen, ruimere kamers dan hotels midden in london & uitgebreid (engels) ontbijd. in sommige periodes kun je overlast hebben v/d zeer laag overkomende vliegtuigen (dus neem oordopjes mee)!

Good price, great breakfastPosted Nov 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great place for Heathrow connection. Bus stops are in front of hotel. Rooms seem dingy but are clean and comfy. Front desk is so helpful. Great full breakfast if included in your reservation. Would stay when passing through London.

Where not to stay when you are in LondonPosted Oct 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms in this Hotel are very old and tired. Carpet are wore through at doors and entrances. There is an old smell about the place. Reception and Bar are non inviting, Old tired and very unfriendly. The noise from the passing AIRPLANES is Basicly abbusive. I couldn't sleep. Aircraft finsihed about 12amm and started again at 6am some as early as 4am. I was going to work tired. Not what I would consider value for money at all. OLD OLD OLD.

Urgent Refurbishment RequiredPosted Oct 26, 2014
Cons: Requires complete refurbishment including building security.
Location: Not far from Heathrow my reason for staying.
This hotel is rundown & in urgent need of a major refurbishment, particularly the installation of decent soundproofing. I, unfortunately booked in for 2 nights in which I only managed a few hours sleep in total due not only to the uncomfortable single bed but the terrible noise from firstly the extremely loud fireworks, it was the Asian celebration of duvali which continued into the early hours & then the very low flying aircraft from 5am in the morning. The hotel consists of several barrack type buildings & my block had external security fitted but it had obviously not been operative for some time. Consequently anyone could gain access at anytime. From the vehicles parked outside it would appear that this hotel is mainly used by visiting tradesmen who I would imagine obtain trade discounts but it is not for the family or sole traveler.
