Decent price performerPosted Aug 20, 2014
Cons: Needs some modernization
Location: Buckingham Palace is literally across the road and the Green Lane tube stop is there too. 2 stops to Harrods and Knightsbridge.
Hotel is in an excellent location. Very close to a major tube station and an easy walk to many interesting sites and destinations. The room we had was quite large with a king bed and a pull out couch. Plenty of room for 3 people. The hotel is starting to show its age. Only 2 elevators (and one was broken while we were there). Breakfast is very average at best and quite expensive. Yet, given the location and large room size , the Park Lane is priced well. We have stayed there 4 times and will probably go back

Good overall. Very good location between Green and Hyde parks. HVAC system in room was inadequate and was not fixed after front desk was alerted to the issue. Offered to change rooms, which was nice, but a bit inconvenient. Windows open which (sort of) solved the problem.

Perfect! The Park Lane Hotel also arranged a complimentary tray of birthday cakes for my husband. Wonderful experience!

GREAT LOCATIONPosted May 18, 2014
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the location was fantastic, we walked everywhere, it is inbetween Hyde Park and Green Park which is opposite hotel so there was easy access to everywhere. The only downside was the overpriced bar, a cup of tea almost £6 so after that we opted for in room tea making facilities.

Excellent central locationPosted Apr 25, 2014
Location: Everything is within walking distance if you can walk 1.5 miles, Palace, Parliament, bridges, Harrods, parks, Piccadilly, Soho, the Tube.....
Very helpful staff, room is fine, clean and comfortable, bar is nice, food is not great and the breakfast buffett is very overpriced so I did not eat there. Great little neighborhood behind the hotel. Buckingham Palace is a 5 minute walk through a beautiful park across the street.

Good LocationPosted Apr 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our stay was very enjoyable and the room adequate for our needs. The sofa bed was not the most comfortable but the beds were very comfy. Lovely bathroom and great walk in closet with safe.

Good hotel. Reasonable price for London. Close to tube station and most major attractions. The only let down of the hotel was the unattentive waiting staff at Citrus restaurant.

Non Smoking twin PLEASE!!!!!!Posted Apr 14, 2014
Cons: Attidutes, service and meeting customer requirement - all failed
Did not get room allocated on booking confirmation. Ended up in smoking room despite request to change. Stunk to high heaven of cigarette smoke. Pointing out room type confirmed in documentation fell on deaf ears. An experience never to be repeated Sheraton or Expedia!!!!!!

5 Star or notPosted Apr 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a very nice location but it is not a 5 star hotel. I had two twin beds pushed together. The room was too hot and the only way to cool it down was to open the window. Again it is a nice hotel but not 5 star by US standards.
