Close to Royal Albert Hall which is what I wantedPosted Dec 8, 2013
Pros: Close to R.A.Hall
Cons: The bath mat was dirty , so more attention to house keeping required. The kettle was not located near a plug.
Location: Close to Museums .and Royal Albert Hall
Felt it was rather expensive . The breakfast was not worth £15.

Nice hotel but....Posted Nov 2, 2012
Pros: Nice big bed
My reason for rating this hotel as 4 was that 2 men let themselves into our room in the middle of the night. Not the fault of the hotel but why did their card open our room? Also other guests were noisy.

Camp bedsPosted Nov 1, 2012
Be warned: a triple room may well mean 2 normal single beds and a camping bed with a very uncomfortable matress! The first room we were offered (as 3 adults) was even a child's camp bed, the second room had a regular sized camp bed and if you ran your hand along the matress you could feel the springs!

Great location and so quiet!Posted Jul 9, 2012
Pros: I cannot get over how great the location is!
Cons: Service is lacking. Not very friendly. Don't expect American amenities, i.e. someone eagerly waiting to take your bags to your room.
Location: South Kensington is, in my opinion, the absolute BEST place to stay. The hotel is on a quiet street amongst upscale residences and offices. Perfect.
The best part of this hotel is the LOCATION! It was perfect! Such an upscale neighborhood and close to everything. We literally would sightsee, then take the tube back to South Kensington to eat. The hotel was fantastic. Our room was so quiet - the street is also very quiet, which is a rarity in London. This hotel is great just for that reason. The linens and room were very clean, as was the bathroom. I thought the elevators and bathroom were spacious by European standards. This hotel was the highlight of the trip. The service is lacking a bit, but we had everything we needed in our comfortable room. This hotel was perfect! I would definitely stay here again. OH, and it is air-conditioned, which was wonderful!!! We also had a flat-screen TV with plenty of channels.

Hotel in main comfortable and well maintained. Room for three people a little small, not as the web picture presents it as three singles in a row, ours had a put-me-up across the bottom of two singles, but as we were only there for 3 nights this was not a major issue.
