Good choice for both West end and city

Posted Feb 25, 2015
As stated the position is very convenient. Staff was ok, room reasonably comfortable and perfectly clean albeit quite noisy despite being on the 6th floor

Basic hotel in great location.

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The location was great. It was clean enough but nothing fancy. Wifi included.
Cons: Temperature and lighting in rooms.
Location: Great location for business in the City and theatre goers.
I was in London for 3 days on business in February. I arrived late at night and it was very cold. I could not get the room warm enough. I called maintenance and they came right away but other than making sure the radiator was on full, there was nothing he could do. By the time I went to bed, it was still cold and I slept in my clothes. The windows were very drafty and for three days I had trouble staying warm. The bed was comfortable and there was a very warm comforter so sleeping was good. The bedside lights were terrible - very small and they were attached to the wall more than a foot from the bed and I could not adjust them.

Hotel in theatreland

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Friendliness of staff. Convenience of location
Cons: Breakfast. Bacon was not freshly cooked and so was rather hard. Croissants would be better if they could be warmed.
Location: Being in the Strand there are lots of theatres and places to eat
We were going to the Vaudeville Theatre and The Strand Palace was the nearest hotel. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and had all the hotel's facilities clearly explained to us. The room was very good, although giving it the title "Executive Suite" was rather unnecessary. The room was clean and comfortable.

Bra hotell nära teatrar och shopping.

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Bra att det fanns vattenflaskor på rummet. Man kunde då göra en kopp kaffe. Tidningar i entren.

Super Hotel

Pros: Die Zentrale Lage
Das Strand palace liegt sehr zentral in London, Soho. Sehr junges freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer sind klein aber vollkommen ausreichend, werden täglich gereinigt.

Pros: REASONABLE PRICE FOR CENTRAL LONDON. IDEALLY SITUATED FOR THEATRES, RESTAURANTS, SIGHTS, SHOPS ETC.
Cons: NEED TO SELL DRAUGHT BEER IN THE BARS.
USED TO USE THIS HOTEL BEFORE I RETIRED FOR BUSINESS TRIPS TO LONDON. STILL USE EVERY YEAR FOR ANNUAL LONG WEEKEND IN THE CAPITAL, NOW FOR PLEASURE.

Nice and central.

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Central location / Comfortable beds / Polite and friendly staff.
Location: Very close to Covent garden / Leicester square. only a short walk to the tube with the circle line.
Hotel was very comfortable although the room was on the small side. Room / hotel is well soundproofed considering its location.

Great Location In Central London

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Ventilation (Heating was inadequate)
Location: West End theaters. Trafalgar Square. National Gallery. Many things within walking distance
I have stayed here many times before. The hotel is in a convenient location in central London, just a few minutes walk to Trafalgar Square. Easy to get to from Heathrow airport on the Picadilly Line; less than 10-minute walk from Covent Garden stop. The heating was inadquate for February, and I had to get an ancellary plug-in heater. (The ventilation is basically open the window if stuffy). Small, simple room.
