Great hotel centrally located in London!

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: What I like the most was the fact that it was centrally located and the room with the view of Trafalgar Square. Also, the staff was the best!
Cons: The decor in the room could be better. More power connections on both sides of the bed.
Location: Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and The London Eye were within walking distance as well as Covent Garden.
During my trip to London on July 9th-12th 2015, I had a pleasant experience at the Trafalgar Hotel located in Trafalgar Square. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious.

Perfect location for exploring London

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Location, air conditioning, comfy beds, shower cubicle in bathroom as well as bath, robes and slippers in room.
Cons: Bringing more shower gel when requested. Call when promised to tell us we could check in
Location: Right opposite Trafalgar Square and other popular sights to visit
The hotel is situated opposite Trafalgar Square and is so convenient for getting around London. We were early to check in and the room wasn't ready so we went to the roof terrace bar. It was a scorching hot day and it was lovely up there. We were originally sat at a normal table but it felt too close to others and we could hear their whole conversations, we therefore moved to the outside bench type sitting where you are facing the view. Wow, it was lovely. We were looking directly at the eye, shard, houses of parliament, Big Ben and nelson's column. the food and drink was not cheap but it was lovely. We then walked to Covent Garden, which was about 10 minutes and walked around. Despite being promised a call when the room was ready this did not materialise, however we returned to the hotel at 4 and our bags had been taken to the room. We booked a twin room and it was massive with two large double beds and suitable for four people. There were robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Despite being on the first floor overlooking cocksure street the room was quiet and the air conditioning was lovely in the heat. We revisited the rooftop bar after seeing our show and the atmosphere was great. We slept well. The only thing that wasn't good is that I asked for more shower gel and it never came. Other than that we couldn't fault the hotel and I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel in Trafalgar Square

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Location, helpful staff, great breakfast - it was a great stay. The bathroom had a huge soaking bath tub and a separate walk-in shower.
Cons: I could have used a little more counter space in the bathroom for my toiletries.
Location: Big Ben, London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey, shops, restaurants
The hotel is in Trafalgar Square and is within walking distance to many of London's attractions, restaurants, and shops. We walked to Big Ben, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, and numerous other places. The hotel staff was knowledgeable when we asked for directions and/or the best way to get to some of the places. The staff provided a map of the area for us and marked highlights and landmarks which helped us navigate around the city. We can't wait to go back!!!

Everything is nice about this hotel

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The staff was super nice--Agustin, Carlo and Inga especially, but everyone was very nice. The room was comfortable and the food was delicious.
Cons: I really have to search for something, but maybe more towel racks in the bathroom!
Location: Again, Trafalgar Square is in the middle of everything!
We loved staying at The Trafalgar Hotel. It's location is perfectly located to be central to anything you want to see in London. We were steps away from an Underground station and a ten minute walk from the Railway station. Plus, we were close to the West End and theatre district and we ended up seeing two shows while we were there. Trafalgar Square is a great meeting place for people in London and it was active with events! But our hotel was this great oasis in the middle of this activity. It was clean, quiet and great service. Our room was very comfortable. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. We saw families and couples (as well as business people) staying there. The rooftop bar was fantastic. The staff greeted us every day with great friendliness. They went out of their way to help us book a trip to Stonehenge and Bath (thanks Carlo!) and the Westminster Palace (thanks Agustin!). This hotel made our stay in London a fantastic one.

Ok biz hotel central location

Posted Jun 12, 2015
Stayed here for biz and the location is conveient right next to charing cross tube stop so I avoided cabs the entire trip and even returned to Heathrow with two suitcases on the subway. Hotel bar is ok. Rooms were ok but I would not have had a happy wife if she had joined me for acouples trip. Staff was universally friendly and knowledgeable. So I would return if the rate is right but not for luxury vacation

Poor Serive

For the price you can certainly find a better hotel. Few staff speak intelligible English.
