“Had a great time in London!”

We had a great time staying at this hotel. It offers a fabulous location and convenience. The hotel room itself was extremely clean and well maintained. We asked for a room higher than the 1st floor so as not to be distrubed by the music from the bar/club and the staff obliged. Despite one rude bartender, we had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

“Very modern”

This was my 3rd trip to London and 4th hotel. I really liked this hotel. Normally I get suites, but I tried Trafalgar's "deluxe plus" room and was very satisfied with it. We had perfect views of the Square, it's very close to the tube, and buses come by almost 24/7. We had just a few issues with things like internet, but the hotel staff are great. They were always more than willing to do whatever it took to accommodate us. The concierge staff are amazing.

“The best experience ever”

I was travelling with my mother and my daugther (11 years) and had booked the hotel through Expedia. The hotel had only registered one guest, but arranged a larger room and x-tra bed for us, while serving a dring in their fantastic bar. Service was the best ever. The room was large, clean and wonderful with direct view to Trafalgar square. Breakfast buffet was marvelous with life music and the most friendly service. I will love to go back for a stay at The Trafalgar and have already recommended it to several of my friends. It is worth every penny. Location can't be better! Close to everything in London.

“Short Visit.”

The folks at this hotel were incredible. Very nice and friendly. They were very quick to make recomendations to local attractions and even helped get tickets to a local show.

“Pleasant surprise”

While it wasn't easy to spot the place, it was well worth the search. Great service, nice restaurant bar in the lobby, and sharp deco rooms. Other than a slighty hard bed, the stay was wonderful.

“The Trafalagar is a great hotel.”

This is a small boutique hotel in a great location for both business and pleasure. The room are spacious for London and the staff is very eager to accomodate your every need. An added bonus is the outdoor rooftop bar that has a magnificent view of the city ( Bi Ben, London Eye). I have been coming to London regularly for 12 years and this is hotel is a "keeper".

“Hotel is rather odd, but a great location”

It was our first trip to Europe so we decided to "play it safe" by staying at an American chain, yet there is curiously no indication anywhere that this is a Hilton hotel (even the actual name is just "The Trafalgar"). No matter. The staff was friendly and professional to a fault -- despite that we were dressed like obvious tourists all week, and that this was a much more chic hotel than we expected (very Ian Schraeger). The rest of the guests looked like professionals, which made us feel initially out of place, but truly no one cared. The lobby transforms into a loud, pulsating nightclub at night, but the dense, old building kept all noise contained and did not intrude above the ground floor. The room was a decent size, but closer inspection showed that all the carpet and veneered furniture needed replacement badly. The upscale bathroom had a cool sink and fantastic large shower but virtually NO counterspace, which was annoying and impractical. Also, you had to lean out the window and look far left to see our "view" of the square. In truth, these are nit picks. The location is absolutely perfect and we got comfortable in the room (except for the bathroom counter) pretty quickly. It was a warm week and the air conditioning worked just as we hoped. Never used the restaurant. Yes, this place is more expensive than it should be, but our excellent vacation may have been much less so had we stayed elsewhere.
