A pleasant stay.

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: I thought it was good value for London. I liked the ethical stance. I trust this includes paying the living wage to staff.
Cons: The lift was a little slow. We used the stairs, not a problem for us.
Location: Well placed for travellers using Euston Station. We used the 24 bus to access the city centre.
We stayed two nights on a sight seeing trip. We had a standard room with modern décor which was not large but everything you need provided. Very modern, very clean. Bed comfortable. Our room overlooked the street but it was very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast. Eggs and pancakes were made to order which was a nice touch. Near to Euston Station so we dropped off our bags almost as soon as we arrived. This was the first time we stayed at this hotel but we will use this hotel as a first choice in the future.

My preferred overnight hotel in London

Posted Nov 22, 2014
Good accommodation in London is never cheap but I find the Wesley to represent good value - a reliable experience, and conveniently situated near Euston, where I normally arrive into London. I would call the hotel 'just right', and breakfast and dinner are perfect in my view. Rooms may seem simple at first sight, but are actually stylish in their way.

Three star masquerading as a four star

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Clean and neat
Cons: Small rooms. Hallway noise.
Location: Close to centre of city for business meetings.
The hotel was clean and neat, however the rooms are quite small, and there is significant noise that makes its way into the room from the hallway. If you have business meetings in the centre of the city that you need to be up early for, then this is a decent choice; however if you want to sleep past 7am, you won't be able to due to the hallway noise.

No frills but nice hotel near Euston Station.

The new desk was under construction when I visited, so no doubt it will appear better later. Nice room, good breakfast. 5 minute walk from Euston Station.

Good hotel & location.

The staff when we arrived were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel was in the process of having the main reception area refurbished but did not cause any problems the reception staff had it well in hand.

The nicest staff you could ask for

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: The refurbished room. The very pleasant staff. The excellent breakfast
Cons: The speed the lift responds to call
Location: Next to Euston Station.
I chose this Hotel for its proximity to both Kings Cross and Euston stations. The staff could not have been more helpful and made me feel a valued guest. The recently refurbished room was excellent and although at the front of the hotel it was very quiet as it is a small back street. I am a woman and was travelling alone and yet felt totally safe in this city centre hotel. I didn't know about its ethical heritage untill I arrived but this just added to the positive experience. The breakfast was also excellent with so much choice of both hot and cold dishes. I will definitely choose the Wesley again if I need to stay in this part of London.

Bra läge med närhet till London Euston!

Posted Oct 23, 2014

Hotel close to underground and train stations

Posted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: Excellent location. Breakfast was great.
Location: Grocery and Euston and Kings Cross/St. Pancras rail stations within walking distance. Short underground rides to theatre and shopping areas.
This is a converted dormitory thus rooms are basic and not spacious; only one elevator, which was slow; room internet acess was inconsistent. Room decor dated with paint peeling in the (small) bathroom. Carpet needs a good cleaning.
