Our daughter's weddingPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful
Cons: The air conditioning was very noisy and we couldn't switch it off
Location: Right in the centre of "The City" . We choose the hotel because it was in walking distance of the wedding reception
We had booked a room for ourselves for the night before and the night of our daughter's wedding. We'd also booked a romance suite for the happy couple on their wedding night. Both of the rooms were well laid out but a bit smaller than we'd hoped they would be. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. The romance suite was lovely, but I did have to ask for the champagne and chocolates but this may have been because the staff set up the room really early for us. They also transferred our daughter's luggage from our room to her's which was much appreciated

A bit out of the way but worth itPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Updated, quiet. great staff.
Cons: Please give option to pay cash in restaurant, dont always want to put things on credit card
Location: Close to city tour, London Bridge and Underground Station
This boutique hotel is great and only two blocks from Bank Street station (short walk). Though a bit off the beaten path in the financial district, this was a great place to stay. It was away from noise and hectic crowding in London, but close enough and easy to get to. Yes I would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel - excellent City locationPosted Mar 23, 2015
Cons: service at breakfast
Hotel was excellent but we had issues with noise in the room. Also - service at breakfast was so poor that we went elsewhere. Otherwise staff were very helpful.

Wonderful hotel, great staff and perfect city location for a weekend break. We were given champagne on arrival and made so welcome. Will be coming again!

Fantastic atmosphere and roomPosted Feb 16, 2015
Everything as fantastic and everyone was amazingly helpful. The room was gorgeous and so was the amazing view from the balcony. The only thing that let my stay down was the room service some of the food was colder than it should be but all tasted amazing! However mistakes happen and wouldn't fault anything but the cold food!

Below average hotelPosted Feb 8, 2015
Hotel was subpar in every material way. Repeatedly has to chase down front desk for resolution/ response to an issue. I was also sent to gym by front desk )outside vendor) only to be turned away as the hotel and gym no longer had a "relationship". Would never stay here again

Under renovation, incredibly slow breakfastPosted Feb 7, 2015
Pros: The room, including the bathroom, were great. Nespresso machine (although would have appreciated stocking it daily).
Cons: Breakfast and breakfast Service!!
Location: Nothing to do nearby but Close to tube.
The Restaurant is under renovation. Unfortunately, I don't know if this means that the breakfast Service/Quality is just bad now or if this is always a theme, but it was atrocious. It took over a half hour to even take my order and just as Long to get my Food, which was very poor Quality. Made me overlook the nice things about the Hotel, including a great, upgraded room, which was perfect for working out in my room. The Hotel does not offer any views and not much in the way of things to do around it, but it is Close to Bank and anywhere you want to get to easily in the City.

No late barPosted Jan 24, 2015 on Hotels.com
Pleasant, comfortable room and friendly staff. Hotel provided a good base for visiting St Paul's, Borough Market and the Tate Modern; however, one of our reasons for choosing this hotel was the late bar which, unfortunately, was not open late on the night we stayed. As we were hoping to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a couple of cocktails, this was a real disappointment.

Good Location for sight seeingPosted Jan 23, 2015 on Hotels.com
The check in was very good,we were offered this when we dropped the luggage off,and told that they would ask the room be given priority.Room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We chose the location as it was near to the sites we wanted to see. I had read that restaurants were closed at the weekend nearby including the hotel restaurant. Though on the website when we booked said bar meals available in the lounge. I emailed the week before our stay asking if bar meals were available, the response was sandwiches baguettes and pasta and meatballs could be had. However on the Saturday evening we were told they couldn't offer food at all. After initial disappointment, we put on our coats and found a great Turkish restaurant called Haz who deserve 12 out of 10 for everything. The restaurant at Threadneedles is closed until March then it opens as a Marco Pierre White I believe. Breakfast can still be taken, though we went out for breakfast
