Excellent stayPosted May 6, 2015
Pros: It's location, and facilities.
Cons: Speed of service in the lounge.
Location: In the centre of The City of London close to Spitafields Market, but easy walking to all the main sites in the City.
Bank holiday stay in central London, this hotel is ideally situated in. The city of London, we wanted to explore the city & east end so perfect for this purpose, being close to Bank station the west end was easily accessible as well. The hotel is welcoming, comfortable with all the facilities you would want, service in the lounge was on occasion a little slow, but still very attentive. Would recommend this hotel but its location in the heart of the commercial rush of the city may not make it everybody's choice.

Our daughter's weddingPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful
Cons: The air conditioning was very noisy and we couldn't switch it off
Location: Right in the centre of "The City" . We choose the hotel because it was in walking distance of the wedding reception
We had booked a room for ourselves for the night before and the night of our daughter's wedding. We'd also booked a romance suite for the happy couple on their wedding night. Both of the rooms were well laid out but a bit smaller than we'd hoped they would be. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. The romance suite was lovely, but I did have to ask for the champagne and chocolates but this may have been because the staff set up the room really early for us. They also transferred our daughter's luggage from our room to her's which was much appreciated

Lovely city hotel, lose to great shops and tube.Posted Mar 31, 2015 on Hotels
Charming hotel, large rooms, my only complaint was the bar closing surprisingly early for a Friday night and the bathroom lighting was atrocious, impossible to put makeup on in there! The shower was pretty useless too, difficult to regulate temperature with the old fashioned taps that are supposed to look charming but I'd prefer functionality. And a dump of water on you, impossible to not get your hair wet.

Luxury treat!Posted Mar 30, 2015 on Hotels
Lovely treat for our 32nd weddding anniversary. We were offered a glass of Prosecco as we checked in and were upgraded to a room with a huge bathroom and a kingsize bed. Nice extras in room- robes, slippers,i-pod dock, nice toiletries, nespresso machine and kettle. We had a very comfortable stay.

A bit out of the way but worth itPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Updated, quiet. great staff.
Cons: Please give option to pay cash in restaurant, dont always want to put things on credit card
Location: Close to city tour, London Bridge and Underground Station
This boutique hotel is great and only two blocks from Bank Street station (short walk). Though a bit off the beaten path in the financial district, this was a great place to stay. It was away from noise and hectic crowding in London, but close enough and easy to get to. Yes I would stay here again.

Profit before people. Again.Posted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
We were bumped. Hotel policy is to over book. We had to stay somewhere else on first of a two night stay. Not acceptable.

Beautiful hotel - excellent City locationPosted Mar 23, 2015
Cons: service at breakfast
Hotel was excellent but we had issues with noise in the room. Also - service at breakfast was so poor that we went elsewhere. Otherwise staff were very helpful.

Nice hotel in the CityPosted Mar 15, 2015 on Hotels
First time stay; like the location; loved the hotel lobby and the service; did not get to experience restaurant as it was closed the one day I stayed. Bedroom was nice, though carpet in room was a disappointment - it looked very beaten down; it looked old and detracted from the look and feel of the room. Otherwise, liked everything else about the hotel.

Perfect city hotelPosted Mar 13, 2015
Wonderful hotel, great staff and perfect city location for a weekend break. We were given champagne on arrival and made so welcome. Will be coming again!
