Comfortable hotel in city locationPosted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Stunning views of the City including St Pauls. Beautiful reception area. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Faster check-in with more helpful staff.
Location: Close to Bank station, Royal Exchange and Bank of England museum.
We were upgraded to a room with a balcony giving stunning views of the City including St Pauls. Check-in was slow and staff did not fully explain how to use the lift. The cups and milk were stored in an unexpected location away from the coffee making machine.

Amazing hotel in the heart of the cityPosted Jul 19, 2015
I knew about this hotel having worked in the city for a while and decided to stay there on a trip back to London. Amazing service, great rooms, and a top location. Could not fault my experience and will definitely be staying there again.

Excellent stayPosted May 6, 2015
Pros: It's location, and facilities.
Cons: Speed of service in the lounge.
Location: In the centre of The City of London close to Spitafields Market, but easy walking to all the main sites in the City.
Bank holiday stay in central London, this hotel is ideally situated in. The city of London, we wanted to explore the city & east end so perfect for this purpose, being close to Bank station the west end was easily accessible as well. The hotel is welcoming, comfortable with all the facilities you would want, service in the lounge was on occasion a little slow, but still very attentive. Would recommend this hotel but its location in the heart of the commercial rush of the city may not make it everybody's choice.

Our daughter's weddingPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful
Cons: The air conditioning was very noisy and we couldn't switch it off
Location: Right in the centre of "The City" . We choose the hotel because it was in walking distance of the wedding reception
We had booked a room for ourselves for the night before and the night of our daughter's wedding. We'd also booked a romance suite for the happy couple on their wedding night. Both of the rooms were well laid out but a bit smaller than we'd hoped they would be. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. The romance suite was lovely, but I did have to ask for the champagne and chocolates but this may have been because the staff set up the room really early for us. They also transferred our daughter's luggage from our room to her's which was much appreciated

Threadneedles - Great for a Weekend StayPosted Apr 14, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel was in a great location - clse to Bank tube station and in easy walking distance to the Thames and St Pauls. Being in the "City" it was really quiet at the weekend with many bars and restaurants which were on the doorstep actually closed, but this wasn't an issue for use. The room was spacious, clean and modern, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Great hotel but don't have breakfastPosted Apr 14, 2015 on Hotels
Lovely hotel, good transport links, good location alternative for a weekend break when it was very quiet. We opted to add breakfast and the full English was very good but the continental not very good. Pre-sliced boring bread, I asked for fresh fruit salad without oranges and it came with lots of oranges in it, no plain yogurt available etc. With so much competition they need to do better.

Lovely city hotel, lose to great shops and tube.Posted Mar 31, 2015 on Hotels
Charming hotel, large rooms, my only complaint was the bar closing surprisingly early for a Friday night and the bathroom lighting was atrocious, impossible to put makeup on in there! The shower was pretty useless too, difficult to regulate temperature with the old fashioned taps that are supposed to look charming but I'd prefer functionality. And a dump of water on you, impossible to not get your hair wet.
