Good location for travellers with a purpose

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Positives for the hotel are location, rooms, value, local shops, friendly staff.
Having arrived in London with Eurostar, this hotel was very easy to get to from St Pancras and was only 5 mins on foot. Close to tube stations and only a 20min walk to the start of Oxford St the hotel is well located for people who don't mind walking around London. The rooms are minimal in content but a reasonable size for the money. Hotel staff and friendly and happy to answer questions. The lift is the only issue as you can only fir one person and backpack in it. It you don't want to pay high prices to be in the middle of London then this hotel is perfect.

So cosy...

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Cons: Double glazed windows .
Lovely room, though maybe a tad on the small side - but the bed was so so comfortable and the bedding was the best!! On the down side, I had to purchase ear plugs to lessen / deaden the noise of the traffic - it was so bad we thought the window was open!! Walking distance for King's Cross station. Costa and several good eateries in easy distance.

5min walk from Kings Cross

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Very modern, clean hotel situated 5min walk from kings cross station which has 6 underground lines. Staff very friendly. Rooms a bit small but as we were there to see the city, hardly in the room.

Nice Hotel near Eurostar

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: It did what we asked of it. A clean bed no fuss hotel, near St Pancras.
Cons: Maybe tea making facilities?
Location: Good places to eat near by.
It is clean, no fuss, and near St Pancras for Eurostar.

OK for one person for One Night....

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. The shower was ok and there was WiFi.
Cons: The size of the room for a start. It is just too small, like being in a prison cell! I am not kidding.....
Location: The location is good and the reason why we booked as it is a few minutes walk to St.Pancras Station so very convenient in that regard.
Sadly this hotel did not live up to our expectations....Mainly because of the size of the room. We booked (2 of us) to stay for 3 nights, this was a mistake! the room was so small we had nowhere to put our luggage and nowhere to hang anything or put anything away. We couldn't open a window because it was too noisy being right on the main road....We were told that the bed was the same as was used in some 5* hotels, but we just got backache really bad, it was so small and so hard....There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room (there would have been nowhere to put them anyway). We were just incredibly disappointed with this hotel and felt a huge sense of relief when it came time to leave. We would not recommend this hotel at all....

Great location for Eurostar passengers

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Clean, comfortable - perfect for one night stay prior to Eurostar to Paris. Easy access to theatre district - 40 min walk to Drury Lane and did not have to pay high price of hotels in theatre district. Would recommend it for travellers from UK to Europe by train.
