Good location and value for money.

Pros: I like the minimalist design though some rooms are small but very functionnal
Cons: I have stayed many times in very nice rooms with opening windows but the last time I was in a lower ground floor room with sealed window . not nice
Location: near the station and the heathrow express. for breakfast pret a manger is far better than the italian next door whose male staff have attitude problem
In general the young staff at reception are extremely welcoming and helpful.Problems put right immediately.

Pros: Clean room. Everything you need for a short stay.
Cons: It's a budget hotel and that's reflected in the room and amenities.
Very quick check in. Front office staff very good.

Good cheap basic convenient

Pros: Location. Price
Cons: Quieter air con
Tune sells itself as no frills where guests pay for extras like towels. Booking with Expedia means towels included. Good, clean, convenient for Paddington. Friendly staff. Only complaint was the noisy air con.

Comfortable place, well-located.

Pros: Cost efficient and well located
Cons: Electric connections, especially for those of us coming from outside the UK.
We enjoyed our stay in the Tune/Paddington. The room was comfortable and clean -- my only complaint would be the single electrical outlet, and the 5 GBP charge for a plug to even use it. The staff was helpful and informative. There are number of decent restaurants in the neighborhood -- we like the Greek one across the street, but the Ganges down the street and the Yan Jing a little further on are also excellent.

Wifi? What Wifi?

Pros: Clean
Cons: Did I mention wifi?
Location: Nothing to do nearby but close to underground
Small, clean and close to tub station. Bring your own towels if you need fresh ones everyday as they do housecleaning every 3 days. We had wifi meltdowns 2 out of 3 nights.

We do cleaning every third day however towels can be changed at the front desk every day. Close to Station

The hotel was ideal as it was very close to Paddington Station which was ideal for getting around using the tube.

Basic but in a good location

Cons: Fresh towels would have been nice during our stay.
Location: Paddington Station close by. Easy walk into Marble Arch and related areas.
The hotel is modern but the room was very small. Hotel was in an excellent location for what we wanted. All services over and above the basic came with a fee. We expected a low cost service but thought that at least the room would be cleaned and fresh towels provided and waste bins emptied on a daily basis, but this didn't happen for our 4 day stay. We discovered this would be an optional extra.

Good location with fresh clean rooms

Close to the underground and with shoppes and caf├ęs all around. Rooms were cozy, clean, almost looked brand new. Mattress was terrible though. Could feel ever spring and was uneven and stiff. Also could feel the rumble of the underground slightly from the second floor but that never bothered us as it's not very noticeable from the second floor. I would stay away from a basement room. Overall we are very happy with our stay and would go back.

Good Location for Touring London with some caveats

Pros: Location is good with several Underground stations nearby but there are plenty of bus stops around which are cheaper to use and have better views.
Cons: If I'm spending a great deal of money for a week's stay, I should be able to leave my bags with you for no charge for a few hours.Seriously, fix this.
Location: Right near the Edgeware road, you'll find all sorts of amenities: Tesco, M&S, a post office and a myriad of restaurants and souvenir shops.
Our experience started poorly but this hotel ended up being one of the better hotels we stayed at during our vacation. Arriving in London, we called to see if we could check in about 3 hours early but were told that wouldn't be possible. No problem; could we drop our luggage with your staff and wander the Paddington area for a few hours? Yes, but they wanted to charge us 2 pounds 50 for each bag. Irritating to say the least. We camped at a local Costa coffee house and completed some emails and postcards while we waited. Upon arriving to the hotel, we were told they weren't checking people in yet and asked if we could wait with everyone else for about 20 minutes. No problem. We sat beside a couple who were very busy complaining to themselves about all the add-ons they would have to pay for in order to enjoy their stay. Hair Dryer, TV, Safe: all things that you can 'add-on' to your bill in order to use said devices. Now I was getting concerned and started to dig up information about what was included in our stay. At that point they started doing checkins and I discovered that since we'd booked through a travel site, we'd receive everything that other people were having to pay extra for. I was very glad to hear that. We finished the short checkin process and headed to the room. It was small but looked new. The bed was a bit firm for my liking and the TV was small. But the winner for the whole room was the A/C. I was so happy we had that for the duration of our stay.

Affordable clean hotel with bathroom and escalator

Hotel in good location close to paddington station. The hotel is very clean however the rooms are tiny. It did not bother us since we stayed only 2 nights but i think for longer stay it could be a problem.
