Pros: The Hosts & its location
Cons: The whole place needs Alex Politzi to do a complete renovation to bring it into a modern hotel without the loss of its theme and character.
Location: Right in the ski area, National Forest trails in the Green Mountains, Covered Bridges etc.
The Irish Owners bought this hotel from an original Swiss couple 22years ago and I don't think they have done anything to it since. The room was clean but looked very shabby and you felt it was dirty. There was no drink-making facilities in the room. The TV was old with 'Digi box' for digital channels. No Hair dryer, Bathroom was sort of pink with white toilet seat and skirting board was rotten, part of ceiling was coming away. The dining room was dark and dingy. The upside was the hosts are very good and helpful, as are the rest of the staff. The evening meal was nice but overpriced. The breakfast was reasonable, but be warned breakfast is between 7.59am and 9.01am!! If you like an old fashioned quirky time capsule this is the place.

Pros: Breakfast and the friendliness of the owner
Cons: Cleaner bathrooms
Location: Outdoor adventures
Overall this was a decent experience. Breakfast was amazing and our sever and the owner were very warm, welcoming and entertaining. The room itself was a bit on the small side and somewhat dated, but presentable. The biggest drawback we found was that there was mold and mildew in the shower and the bathroom wasn't very well kept up. We love the area and would return of we needed a place to stay for a night.

Dinner was very expensive and not very satisfying. The host was very gregarious and informative.

I love the Swiss Inn, because of its freiendly owners and staff. They are extremely inviting and provide excellent services. I love a hearty and delicious breakfast, which they provide at this place. The room is just okay.

Excellent service and hospitalityPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Even though the building and rooms are somewhat dated, the guests receive a very warm welcome. Breakfast and dinner are excellent. The hotel includes a very good restaurant serving excellent home made meals at a very cheap rate. Very good deal as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
