Great location with very friendly staffPosted Dec 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed my stay in Tower Hotel. It was Christmas time and there were a lot of parties which upped noise levels after hours....parties ended at 12.30/1am so no real impact on sleep. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, they were friendly, efficient and most accomodating. Whilst rooms were okay I felt they looked and felt a bit dreary. A simple ramping up of lighting would probably warm the rooms up a bit .Hotal location could not have been better....close to shops and historic Derry. Breakfast was great too with good selection of food. Overall this is a hotel which I am happy to recommend.

Excellent HotelPosted Dec 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
We have stayed at the tower hotel previously and that is why we stayed there again this time. It is very centrally located. Staff very helpful, we had breakfast each day with an excellent choice. We also had our evening meal on the two nights of our stay. Both where excellent and I can recommend both the restaurant and the lyric bar. Would definitely recommend to my friends and will prob stay there again

The hotel was lovely - great location, free parking and great breakfast. The room was a little warm but otherwise we were very happy with it. We would definitely stay there again.

Ideal for a visit to Derry. Free parking, comfortable, well run but changing £5 for Wi-fi a bit much.

Great location and friendly staffPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Location and staff friendliness.
Location: Everything was nearby within walking distance. Great hotel and I'd go there again.
I was looking for a good hotel near the heart of Derry's night life within walking distance to everything and I found it. This place is great with good value for your money and a friendly staff. Can't wait to return, Kirk MacNeil

Central but in need of an overhaulPosted Nov 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here on a Saturday night, The staff were friendly, the room big and the location central, However the place really needs a refurb. The washbasin in the bathroom was cracked and there were several scorch marks on the writing desk, The carpets throughout are and our (not especially large) bed lumpy. When we arrived in the room there was a strong and not very attractive smell of cleaning product but as this wore off it was replaced by an smell of Deep Heat/wintergreen which seemed to come from one of the pillows. Wifi is £9/day - ridiculous in 2013. Breakfast was reasonably good apart from the coffee which seemed to have been made the day before.

Convenient to important city centre sightsPosted Oct 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was very disappointed with room which looked out on flat roof which was like a building site with scaffolding and ladder very close to the small window.
