Nice hotel across from golf course

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Staff and cleanlyness
Cons: Breakfast- hard to determine if those were really eggs. Not a lot of choices.
Location: It's the Eastern Sierras- what more could you ask for?
One night stay-pleasant, helpful staff. Room clean and comfortable. Free breakfast leaves much to be desired.

Wallpaper was coming off the wall. Upholstery was torn. Breakfast was disappointing

What a great view!

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms; good wifi; extra charging hubs for devices; seating area on deck outside breakfast room with FABULOUS view; great breakfast
Cons: Breakfast area was set up poorly; TV channels in guide did not match what was on TV
Location: Mt. Whitney, Alabama Hills; Western Film Museum; Death Valley; Manzanar; Eastern California Museum -- tons of things!
We stayed here for three nights, and were very pleased with the hotel. We plan to stay again, next time we're in the area.

"This IS the Comfort Inn!"

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: "Mod cons," great staffer, convenient location (in the daylight).
Location: The road into Death Valley runs between this hotel and the Death Valley Visitor Center, so it was a great starting point for the next leg of our trip.
We had trouble finding it in the dark and called for directions. The staffer was helpful and friendly and got us there right away. She was a delight during the check-in process and was the same in the morning when she was back on duty again. Her lively and fun personality set the tone for our stay. The hotel was great: no pool or other resort touches but spacious room, comfortable bed, etc. Everything was clean and upscale, right down to the power outlets and USB charging sockets on top of the nightstand. The continental breakfast was everything you could want, with even a waffle maker. We had stayed the previous night in a historic inn, which was fun, but the contrast in comfort and conveniences was welcome.

This was a great hotel with a good sized room, really good breakfast with free tea and coffee throughout the day. Staff were really friendly. Great views of mountains and in a great location for outdoor activities.

Mountain range views - Lone Pine, CA

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Location: Death Valley is a drivable distance. Cowboy museum, MT Whitney interesting & close. Lone Pine, CA w/ several decent restaurants, a few shops.
Facility clean, well equipped w/ "special touches." Breakfast room has lovely view of the Mts. Staff was efficient, helpful & friendly, especially w/ the breakfast serving. Good location (Rte 395) to Lone Pine, CA. We will stay there again if in the area.

Great hotel for the price

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: It was great place to stay. It was quiet, therefore I was able to relax.
Cons: Maybe the air conditioning, the room got a little warm even with the ac on.
Location: Drive to Death Valley, Mt. Whitney, and Alabama Hills.
The hotel was in a great location. Just about two hours to Death Valley and Mt. Whitney. The check in procedure was excellent. The room was great, which came with a microwave and fridge. Free wifi too. Free breakfast, just get there a little earlier if you want waffles. The view is great, Mt. Whitney. There are plenty of restaurants within a mile.
