Cons: The ROOM
Location: conveniently located
When I booked the room I was under the impression that the room had a full stove not just a stove top and that some cooking ware was provided but there was not anything to cook with or any utensils. It was a bring your own. The most upsetting was that the Key card reader was not working so we were given the option of reimbursement for another Hotel or waiving our $7 dollar Pet Fees, since it was already late in the day and after driving 6 hours I was not up to looking for a last minute room for 4 and 2 pets so we kept the room which we had to leave the window unlocked so that we could open the door from the inside. WE STILL GOT CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR THE ROOM. WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS HOTEL!!!

Great hotel experience.

We had a great time at the motel and the beach. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. It was only their 2nd time in a hotel and they felt very comfortable. They took note of the cleanliness and care that had beenn taken to prepare the room for us. The breakfast was a hit. I especially enjoyed the waffle that was demonstrated for us. I would not have known how to do it. The staff anticipated our needs.

Good place for a weekend at the beach

Posted Mar 18, 2013
We decided to make a last-minute trip to the beach to take advantage of some unseasonably sunny and warm days. We took our dog along, which greatly limited options on short notice. Rodeway Inn was a perfect fit - it was reasonably priced, especially for a great location with easy access to the beach and downtown businesses. The room was clean and comfortable. There were many other dog owners there, but that was not a problem at all. For a quick overnight getaway it worked out really well.

Pros: friendly people, helpful in every way.
Cons: the fridge didn't work, but i didn't use it anyway.
Location: not touristic, and i would love to see it stay that way.
i love that everyone that i talked to was not just informative of the surrounding area, but they took the time to be friendly. i felt like i was treated like family. it was awesome and i will be back as soon as i can. :)

Decent budget motel in a nice location

Posted Nov 1, 2012
Pros: The location near town and on the peninsula. Also, excellent staff service.
Cons: Problem with the door locks, heating.
They are on 101 on the peninsula, in the town of Long Beach. None of the rooms have a view despite the proximity to the ocean. I had switch rooms and wait for the staff to retrieve my belongings after the door stopped working, which seems to be a chronic problem at that location. The room had a baseboard heater which did get the place warmer, but was either too hot or too cool despite my fidgiting to get it right-on. The place was fairly quite, but loud road noise and some sounds from the other guests made it through. My room also featured a small fireplace/stove complete with firelog. Nice for a romantic fire, but it gave me a little concern as to the safety of the other guests.

Not bad

We had a decent stay at this hotel. It was a bit expensive for an older place, it was a holiday weekend so i wasnt surprised. The bed was fairly comfortable. The room was dated, but clean. I'd stay there again.

Good location and staff. Hotel needs a serious remodel and upkeep to be able to charge the amount for a stay.

The Perfect Location

Posted Jun 20, 2012
The room was very clean and fresh smelling. The only problem we had was with our key card to get in our room. We could only use it once then had to get it reprogrammed at the office eveytime we needed to use it, other than that it was nice and the location was perfect.
