one night stay

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: convenient to where I had to go
Cons: I doubt anything can improve the place its just the way its located...
it was just a one night stay....small room but clean hotel on a corner of very busy intersection which made for quite a bit of street noise. there was quite a bit of noise from door slamming and that was disturbing for one night im not complaining...

You can not imagine how small the room is.

Posted Apr 15, 2014
The room is a little bit bigger than the bed, it hard for people to pass through around the bed, however, the TV is big and the Chair is also big that don't match the small room. The noise from the train outside is really big. The only good thing is the inn is near subway station.

For economy close to mid town good deal

Not the biggest rooms but they still come off as reasonably up to date. I stay here in a pinch anytime

Suprised....in a bad way

Pros: Ease of access to Manhattan
Cons: Note my comments
Location: Location to Manhattan is excellent, plenty of places to eat nearby.
I booked my wife into this hotel for ease of access to Manhatten and the great rate. Everything was relatively good until the last day. On the day of her check-out she enquired as to where she could leave her bags as she needed to move around for a couple hrs. She was told by the front desk staff that it was not possible and she would have to pay 50$ to keep her luggage in the room until 4PM(1/2 the nights rate). This wouldn't bother me except that my wife is visibly 8 months pregnant! I have never heard of such a thing, in all my years of using hotels this is a first, absolute extortion....maybe I'm mistaken but compassion is obviously lacking in this hotels working vocabulary. I was especially surprised to hear that the staff from the front desk was female as well. I don't think the hotels reputation should suffer because of some unreasonable employee, The manager might want to look into this, if they care.....

VERY dirty and noisy hotel!!!!

Posted Jan 14, 2014
It is the dirtiest and noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in...and I have stayed in thousands of hotels all over the world. The staff is also very unprodessional and RUDE! Telephone in the room was not working, which is a safety violation. TV channels were staticky and the sink was clogged. I requested to be transferred to another room...and I was placed in an ever worst room...dirtier and noisier!!!! DAYS INN is probably the worst hotel chain in the world!!!!!

WE arrived late and left early but the service was very nice. They called for a cab since I mentioned we needed to get to the airport in the morning even though I did not ask them to.
