Great location to the subway/train.

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Staying in the city was going to be pretty pricey so we decided to stay in Long Island City and take advantage of the public transit system. The hotel is just over a block away from the Queensboro Plaza station and even closer to the R Train entrance. It worked out perfectly. The hotel itself does not have much parking but we got lucky and were able to park on the street right in front. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was a little hectic, as it seemed everyone decided to eat at the same time. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

New Hotel, 10 minutes from Manhattan

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Location vs. Price
Cons: Small things here and there, room service, etc..
Location: Nothing nearby except Queensborough station
Great service, nice new rooms. Slightly sketchy part of town but great nonetheless. Free parking on road in front of hotel.

Great Location, Good staff, Nice Experience

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Location, price point.
Cons: Once all the construction is done (I mean there is a lot going on, looks like more hotels are popping up there) it should be even better
Location: Metro, restaurants, corner stores
This hotel is a mere 200 meters from Metro, which will get you to downtown Manhattan in 30 minutes. Construction around the hotel was of little issue, I just asked to be placed on the other side of the subway line. Lots of small restaurants around the hotel, including a great Brazilian BBQ located in the basement of the nearby Holiday Inn which was a nice find. The breakfast included did get a little hectic in the later part of the 3 hours it is offered but seemed to work out okay. Rooms were great, and the air conditioning needed this summer had no issues. Price, location, friendly service, all a win- win situation. Would stay again in the future trips to the Big Apple

Great Hotel in Queens close to subway

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The price and location were excellent. Staff professional, hotel fairly new so well appointed
Location: The location I'd near to two subway stations and some local shops and delis nearby, quite an industrial area with limited local facilities.
This hotel was perfect for our needs. Good hotel, staff very helpful, rooms are a good size with all the facilities and more that you need. Breakfast included so a great way to start the day. Only 15 mins from Times Square via the subway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good value hotel in New York without paying Manhatten prices.

practically manhattan!

Pros: price,funky looking for a chain,location,location,location!!!
Cons: They don't exactly promote the available and free street parking.$25 valet.Breakfast can be hectic and finishes too early.
Location: 10 minute ride from Times Square. What else need be said! And if you drive, parking has come down in Nyc.You can get better deals with Icon, everywhere
This is a great hotel in a superb location.Just across the Queensborough bridge, the only non toll crossing leading into the city. And a short walk to the subway. Can be a bit confusing to find if you are driving but for the most part there is free(and safe)parking on the street. And it makes day trips to Long Island more accessible, since you are on the Queens side of the river.Pound for pound it stands up to very good hotels just a short crossing away for half the price. The breakfast(included) can be a jam packed ordeal at times but everything else you expect for a Marriott member hotel is there, with unusual small touches of modern NY.chic.

Good hotel with great facilities

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: The facilities
Cons: Gym Facilities
Location: Times Square and Statue of Liberty
Staff were excellent. Facilities were great. It was no bother catching the subway to get where I needed to go. The gym could probably do with some more equipment. My experience in New York was great. It is a terrific place to visit
