Location!!

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Great location. I used to book hotels on the other side of the Houston river, through the Lincoln Tunnel. Years ago the pricing was great, compared with Manhattan. But, as demand grew, they jacked it up. Now they are almost the same pricewise. So I switched and it was good. I hope they realize why and keep it low.

Excellent hotel!

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: The location, the customer service, the rooms were great and the view.
Cons: Wish they would of provided complimentary breakfast but its ok
Location: There is a Deli right in front of the hotel, a pizza place down the block and 2 blocks down is the subway.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in, very nice workers. Got to my room very clean and spacey. Everything was clean, bed comfortable. I got the balcony and that provided a very nice view out to the Brooklyn bridge. Got ready for checkout and they held my luggage. Overall it was a nice experience and will definitely be staying here when I come back.

hôtel très proche de Manhattan

Posted Apr 22, 2015

Enjoyed my stay at Holiday inn. Staff was nice and welcoming. Room was clean beds were comfortable. I couldn't check in early because no rooms were available but they do have luggage hold. The view from 15th floor is amazing. I was able to do a late check out and had my luggage held. They called a taxi which arrived like 2 mins after the call. There's a subway literally 2 blocks from hotel. There's a deli in front of the hotel they have a good sandwiches there good prices. Great location, there is no noises at night, both nights slept good.

Holiday Inn hotel - Long Island City

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: There is a computer for guests to use I won't necessary have to bring my own lap top next time if im here. And also the gym is nice too!
Cons: If they could include breakfast for free that will make everything perfect! Internet also is a little slow and unstable at night or at our room.
Location: There is also a coin op laundromat a block away. Also right across the street there is a nice bar and deli convenient store, with great food served.
The hotel is very convenient and close to the subway stations. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, they answered to all our requests, rooms are clean and cozy with a large window looking out to the cityscape.

Pros: I like the location, the affordable room rate, the cleanliness, the safety of the location, the proximity to the MTA (subways and buses),and to stores
Cons: The entrance to the hotel could be changed. Guests had to enter from the parking area: It doesn't look like an entrance to a hotel. Room temp was cold
Location: The location is close to the subways & buses so that you don't have to use taxis to get around in the city or the airport. Taxis are not cheap.
I decided to celebrate the 50th year of my life here on earth at the hotel. It was close to my home so that I did not have to spend a lot of time, energy (effort), and money. I love the location because it was close to the MTA public transportation such as the subways and buses and it was walking distance to the supermarkets, the deli stores, and other retailers such as CVS. The wide windows in the room on the 14th floor gives a good view of Long Island City and a bit of Manhattan skyline. I would take a walk in the neighborhood for about 5 to 8 blocks and I felt safe. The hotel gives me that safe and comfy feeling, not too corporate-ish like in the other hotels in Manhattan.

Ok hotel, near subway track.

Posted Apr 13, 2015
This hotel was inexpensive and close to the subway which helped with traveling around the city. We did have issues with our hotel temperature. The air conditioning didn't work the first night of our stay, and when I told the front staff about the issue I was treated like it wasn't a big deal. They did send a technician to take care of it later that day, so atleast they fixed the problem which I commend them for. Overall, a nice hotel experience.
