Wireless is badPosted Sep 14, 2014
The room was comfortable enough, appropriate to the rate. Breakfast, especially the automated coffee machine, was not up to par. Worst was the wireless: slow and dropped connection frequently, and moving around in the room only helped a little.

No frills, clean stay. Don't ask for any servicesPosted Sep 11, 2014
Great place to stay outside of Manhattan that is right off of te subway. Don't look for anything special...

Hotel close to sights and subwayPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: close to subway and breakfast was included, clean, comfortable room
Cons: upgrade computers used for airline check-in, etc. Staff should be better informed about local restaurants, touring sights,
Location: several restaurants 1.5 miles away, and by taxi 4 miles away. Beaches also 4 miles away subway 3 blocks away, clean room
Hotel is located in city setting, 3 blocks to subway. Close to some restaurants and fast food places. Had good breakfast included. I have stayed there 4 times and would stay again since it is clean, comfortable and average price. I was disappointed with the hotel computer - it did not work. I was also disappointed that the hotel phone did not work, though they did fix it after asking 4 times.

Ok hotel, great access to the cityPosted Aug 25, 2014
The hotel was ok. The room was clean, however there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was complimentary breakfast every morning, however some of the items I stayed away from. (Cream cheese that was not refrigerated, cold eggs and sausage). Average hotel, free parking with great access to the city. I did feel safe there with my family.

DissapointmentPosted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: It was not a far walk to ride the subway.
Cons: Breakfast times could be extended, and they could add a game room, pool, or something else for attraction. The rooms furnishings need some updating.
Location: Ride the subway. McDonald's is across the street.
The hotel did not have a pool or any other perks. Parking was aweful, and you can hear the subway go through all hours of the night. The price was expensive for a hotel that was not very clean, and the beds were not comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to others, and I will find a different location for next year.

The staff isn't very friendly. Breakfast was terrible. Room needed a good cleaning. Bed was hard. Towels did not smell clean. Camping in a tent would've been as comfortable.

Pros: Free breakfast is not bad
Flickering bathroom light and odd noise when overhead light was turned on. You could hear the 7 train but it's not that much of a problem(I call it "character") and considering the commute to Midtown Manhattan so fast, I really didn't mind the train noises.

GOOD EXPERIENCEPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: Cleaning and tidy, free parking, breakfast free of charge, location close to subway.
Cons: Maps of dowtown should be available.
Location: Popular area, two blocks from subway, Mac Donalds, and some other fast food restaurants, in front there was a parking place (14 dollars a day)
As soon as we arrive, the person in charge was very friendly, small hotel in a popular área.

Close to SubwayPosted Jul 16, 2014
The hotel is right by the 7 line. Which was great to make transfers. Had parking on site which was great for us because we were traveling on a road trip. Room was clean but the ac barely worked and it averaged low 90s in July. We opened the window at night. Staff was friendly. Affordable with your own bathroom which is key in nyc. Definitely would recommend.
