Pros: Any hotel with a comfortable and more neat and good location of beach with near shopping area and restaurant too.
Cons: It is no matter, we love to travel any good hotel for our vacation to stay.
Location: Beautiful !!!
Dear Expedia Customer, We want to say ... Thank you for checking at Driftwood Inn Hotel. We appreciate it for our pleasure to travel by LIRR and our good friends who pick us up and travel with them everywhere for our enjoy on the history of Montauk and Sag Harbor. We had a great time at that Driftwood Inn on that amazing view of that beach and it is a real life of this Earth and a beautiful view on that ocean. We had a great time with our friends who took us to that Montauk, Sag Harbor, and a perfect Octoberfest weekend with many of their Festival Annual on Oct 5th to 7th, 2012. We loved it so much and the hotel too. Next time we will bring more double couples to join with us for the summer vacation.

CONVIENIENT SHABBY, BUT BASICALLY JUST '" BEACHY".

Pros: The room with little kitchenette and the beach a few seconds away.
Cons: Old chair cushions, that feel a bit "ooky".
Location: Perfect...a few minutes from Main St in E. Hampton and close to restaurants.
The location is fabulous, facing the ocean or the dunes. The room was very clean, but the patio had not been properly clean for new guests. I cleaned off the tables and chairs and shook out the chair cushions that had crumbs on them. The closet was very tiny, but that was okay. However, the hooks that go to the hangers, were missing. We had our own and were okay enough not to need them. I would have asked for them if needed. I did tell the front desk about the hanger hooks when I left, because I did not want them to think we took them. The pool was very clean. I think all the lounge cushions are very old and need to be replaced. They did not feel okay anymore and look dirty and old. The grounds, flowers, and grass were all pleasing to the eye and well cared for. The beach in the area was a few seconds walk. Chairs, towels, and umbrellas were there for the taking and we did not have to bring the chairs or umbrellas back, because there was someone there to do that for us. I am going back to this resort. My son lives in East Hampton, so this is a great location for us to stay when visiting.

Beautiful Beach Resort in Montauk

Posted Aug 13, 2012
Pros: Beach Dunes Pool Cleanliness of suite Suite's own patio and bbcue Peaceful surroundings as next to state park staff very pleasant
Cons: Wish suites were bigger to better fit a family of 5
Location: Beautiful location next to Hither Hills campgrounds with untouched surrounding area
Hotel was wondeful! location was beautiful. Right next to a state park and on the beach side so beach and dunes that much more beautiful compared to downtown Montauk. So peaceful! Loved the cabana beach service. Plus the pool was very nice and kids loved it. Grounds well maintained. Tennis courts/basketball court and kid structure looked very new. Stayed in a 2 room suite and although tight, it worked. Suite recently remodeled and very clean. Will definitely consider going back.

Pros: Simple. Clean. Comfortable.
Cons: View of the dunes instead of the water. But knew this going in
Location: Fine
Stayed for an overnight with my wife and found it to be a good value. I would definitely stay again. Very family friendly. No surprises.

Beachy overnight stay

Posted Jun 26, 2012
Pros: Recently renovated, clean and modern. Loved the LED lights in the kitchen faucet!
Cons: No security. Office closed up around midnight. Would not have stayed there alone.
Location: Location was great! Off the main road, easy access to beach and pool area.
Overnight June 25,2012 At first the reservationist tried to put us in a studio with twin beds! I haven't slept in a twin bed since I was ten not to mention my boyfriend is 250! The king size bedroom was just enough space, recently renovated, clean, very nice and a kitchen too! Short access to the beach. The nearest place to eat was across the street. Flat screen TV was small and in the living room. WiFi was great. Swimming pool was nice. Overall you couldn't go wrong for the money. Down side...one way in and ouT of Montauk .
