Questionable Place

Posted Jul 14, 2014
When checking into hotel, girls at desk tolde to have a seat in lobby because it was shift change. One girl went to her car and came back in. They never called me back up, So I approached th again. There is NO fitness room as promised and the reason I booked the hotel. Girl at desk said they notified expedia, but expedia said they were not notified. Pool is under construction and my view out of my window was a big dumpster with lots trash in it. I have a picture. Toilet ran all night. Not enough food for breakfast sausage was out and no cream for coffee. Disappointed in hotel and Expedia.

Perfect Location and excellent staff

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: It was clean, and the staff has excellent customer service skills.
Cons: More towels added to the bathrooms and more than one bar of soap for 2 people.
Location: Excellent restaurants nearby, a great gourmet deli across the street, a Kosher deli also across the street. 2 or 3 movie theaters within 5 or 6 miles.
The Executive Inn is conveniently located in Woodbury, just minutes from the Parkways and the Long Island Expressway. Close to upscale restaurants, and Country Clubs. Roxanne at the front desk was polite and extremely efficient, and the hotel maids were lovely and did a good job with our room.

Okay, but, needs updating.

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Closeness to business locations.
Cons: Light fixtures, carpets.
Location: Location is excellent.
Overall, room was good, clean and comfortable. Certain things need to be addressed. Light fixtures and carpets stood out most. Yes, I would stay there again.

Tiny bathroom with toilet that runs all night

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Very little to like; especially at the high price. Free USA Today newspaper was the best feature of the hotel.
Cons: Hotel staff interest, courtesy and willingness to help. Driveways are small and cluttered. Breakfast line is congested. Bath area is very small.
Location: The location is nothing special and requires a fair 'off-route' journey.
What a disappointment! Room looks nothing like the picture. Very little space to move or breathe. All TVs in all rooms are overloaded with grainy and out-of-focus pictures, because cable system doesn't support present number of rooms. Breakfast is mediocre, at best. Juices and coffee dispensers were already empty at 8:15am and not being serviced. Biggest problem with room was toilet that was running when we got there and still running when we left. It was reported to the desk agent and all we got was an OK, I'll make a note of it Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, because the 'sample' bottles you get are gone with one person's use.

Executive Inn at Woodbury

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: See above
Location: Great diner right next door! Near highway and trip to Belmont Park for the Belmont stakes was very quick.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortable room and loved the fact that you could park right outside our room door. This made transferring luggage, etc. extremely easy. Quiet at night and slept well. Great experience all around!
