“Highly recommended.”

Everything was as it should be for a quality hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was a very big plus.

“Wonderful escape”

“Pushy housekeeping staff”

Hotel was great for the rate. Check in was a little slow but when requests were made they came quickly. Only problem that occurred was in the morning of check out. I felt very rushed by housekeeping staff. The front desk said to use the "do not disturb" sign next time.

“great”

best experience on long island ive had. room was quiet and warm considering its february. AC/Heat was quiet and pleasing for sleeping. staff was great and took care of my room while I was working on the road. much appreciated.

“Good hotel”

“Poor customer service”

We were in town for a viewing/funeral & picked up extra food to snack on. When we woke up we found our salad, carrots, hummus & pizza were frozen (setting on fridge was off). Because we found out as we were chrckong out, this meant going hungry until after the funeral & church gathering. When I told the front desk staff, without even bothering to look up/away from her paperwork, muttered unprofessionally 'sorry'. Poor customer service!!

“Hauppauge Holiday Inn Express”

Our family earlier this summer (June 2010) spent a night at the Holiday Inn @ Stony Brook, so we were anticipating Hauppauge to be similar in quality which it was except for three suggestions: 1. offer the breakfast bar buffet that's at Stony Brook 2. have more than 2 packets of coffee creamer in the room 3. fix the broken shower curtain
