Best hotel I have ever been to

Cons: nothing
Location: there's a great outlet mall 15 min drive... was awsome!!
Everything about this hotel was perfect! from the minute we got there (early evening hours after driving from NYC for 2.5h..) the place feels like a home, it's actual lobby feels so warm and fun and the best part is that they serve dinner!! which was a save, especially as we were traveling with our 2 year ols and I had no idea what to do about dinner in that area. The room was superb, clean comfortable, we got a really nice baby crib, everyone were happy. Breakfast and dinner were great and there were a lot of options. I will definetly stay there again next time I'm in long island. This hotel is recommanded to both couples and families with children- just a fun place!!

Decent hotel

We stayed here for a wedding in a King suite room. Room was clean (and I would consider myself picky), bed was comfortable. Air conditioning temperature was inconsistent throughout the night. Free breakfast was okay the first morning (eggs, pancakes, sausage for hot stuff) but barely edible the next (french toast bacon and eggs for hot stuff). Bagels were decent though, which we ended up throwing out the hot stuff and just eating those. Quiet room, didn't hear much from other people - and it seemed to be a pretty booked/busy hotel.

Fine hotel with small trash in room and a few small items left behind by previous guest. Rocking chairs and ash trays near front entrance drew smokers to the door. Every time we entered the hotel, we had to walk through smoke. The smoking would prevent me from retuning - they should get rid of the ash trays and chairs to eliminate the "smoking lounge"

Nice hotel to stay with small kids.

I stayed there with my wife and two small kids while on the Long Island to attend a wedding. Everything was perfect, the room was very cleen, breakfast was very nice and the dinner was adequate. The dinner was a lifesaver after a busy day when the kids were tired and did not have energy to go out to a restaurant.

Don't say you provide dinner if you can't or won't

I too was upgraded to a suite but my experience was a rather unpleasant one. Due to a traumatic experience as a teen in a motel, I always request above the first floor when traveling alone. When I arrived at this hotel, not too long after check-in began, I was told flatly my request could not be accommodated. Only when I asked the clerk to check other Hiltons in the area, did he call the manager over. After some checking and with some irritation the manager told me she would put me in a two bedroom suite. Didn't need it, but thanks. She then told me that if I planned on eating in my room, I was not allowed to come to the buffet dinner until 6:30 at the earliest. As I was working on a presentation for the next morning, I did indeed intend to eat in my room. However, as I was heading to my room, I saw many people heading to their rooms with to-go containers from the buffet. Not a problem, just interesting. When I did head down at 6:30 at the instructed time, there was nothing but a few scraps of food left, no utensils, no plates, no glasses, not to-go containers. And tons of people standing around in a small area looking hungry and confused. So I had to take time out from my work to head to a local restaurant. Again, I'm not sure what the scheme is here, but it isn't working. If you book here, be prepared to get your own dinner, despite what is advertised and expect an attitude if they cannot meet simple requests that they've had plenty of time to plan for.
