Nice hotel, very accommodating for pets

Location: Sayville was very nice town to walk-around and sit on the beach.
Front desk staff was very helpful in finding a place to walk the dog, and also helpful to store a tray of food in hotel fridge before we were to bring to an event that evening. Room clean was great upon arrival and day following! Quiet - which was appreciated! Breakfast was nice addition - and when toaster stopped working staff was quick to replace.

Late Check In

Pros: A couple of the staff members appeared to work diligently and the hotel looked generally clean.
Cons: Provide adequate staff and a manager that cares and follows up on problems.
Location: The hotel was pretty far away from everything, as far as I know.
The hotel was understaffed so rooms were not cleaned in time to honor our check-in time. We waited about an hour and 20 minutes. Once my son and I got to our room, I unfolded the sofa bed to prep it for bedtime. My son sat on the sofa bed mattress and promptly fell through the bed to the floor. I helped him up, pulled back the mattress and found that the supporting mesh base, springs, and surrounding structure of the sofa bed was severely damaged. I find it impossible to believe that the cleaning staff could change linens on the sofa bed and not see how dysfunctional the bed was. Either they didn't change it, or they ignored the damage. There were no other rooms to move to as the hotel was reportedly full. They provided an air mattress that my son was forced to sleep on. I was assured that management would contact me about this problem but I was never contacted. In addition, one of the two elevators in the hotel became inoperable while we were there. A note was placed on the first floor to inform guests but no such notes were place on the elevator doors on other floors. Guests continued to wait for elevators on the other floors, uninformed of the broken elevators. This hotel is POORLY managed.

Great place!

I was quite surprised that the pictures online didn't look as good as the hotel in person. It was one of my last choices because everything else was booked around the area. But I was quite surprised at how nice and clean it was. The front desk staff (1 person) was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again! Ok, maybe one little issue. I think there was some sort of lacrosse thing going on and a lot of teeny boppers running around...being inconsiderate of others and rude. But otherwise the stay was nice.

Could be OK but...

The Bed was saggy and the breakfast while free was worth every penny, in other words nothing. The coffee was about as strong as weak tea. But really the worst thing was the persistent cigarette smoke in the hallway and in the elevator. Clearly the people that stay here could give a monkeys about the no smoking rules. We will never stay there again.

Pros: Being able to travel with my Yorkie and accepted as a customer.
Cons: A pool either in or out. A snack bar or pub where you can get a late night snack.
Location: Wine country for sure. Museums and lots of flowers and hanging baskets at reasonable prices.
Our stay was experience was superb. Great selection of food for the free breakfast. Jacuzzi was handicap accessible and very refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. Personnel were professional and friendly especially with my Yorkshire Terrier " Presley. There were restaurants near the hotel so driving long distance wasn't an issue. Overall I would definitely come back and they also have a free program for all La Quinta Inns that gets you a free night stay.

Very clean and spacious room, nice staff. My kids are very happy with the hotel and next time we come to Long Island, we will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The facility was fairly new and showed as it was. Very clean an decorated. Parking could of had more thought when designing.

Pros: Staff and rooms
Cons: The lady who cares for the continental bkfst was, at times, a little . . . bossy to the guests. Didn't care much for that.
Location: Right by the airport - restaurants not far away. Dave & Busters and a trampoline place not too far away!
Had a nice stay at this La Quinta. The staff was very helpful, and they even allowed us to check out a day early without penalizing us. (We stayed four nights) The hotel was nice - continental bkfst fine - do wish it had a pool, though. A restaurant and bar would make it even better. However, a nice place - reasonable rates. Appreciated the shuttle to the airport and train station - a bonus. Thanks for a nice time!

We stayed there for an event. The place is nice and the room is clean. The free breakfast is decent. It is located near major road so it is convenient.
