“What do you want for nothin', rubber biscuts?”

"Sleep cheap" is a slogan for a famous chain of Motels, but this place is not "cheap", but it is inexpensive, and a great value! My room had all the right stuff, (except a do not disturb sign) like a microwave, fridge, hair-dryer and iron, it was clean, the tv worked, and the place was quiet! The office, where the ice machine is located, is in the middle of the parking lot. I did not try the bar and restraunt, but the parking lot was full of cars.

“Fine for a place to crash overnight”

We used the hotel for a short overnight stay. For that purpose it was fine. The room was small but clean and the bed soft. The room is "bare bones" - nothing more than soap in the bathroom, and the towels are not much bigger and thicker than paper towels. If we had to stay several days we'd look elsewhere, but for a single night the price was right and we had no problems.

“Good Comfortable Place For Affordable Price”

After reading review i was in double to make reservations but still decided to go cos of affordable price but I was totally happy to stay in this place for that price. my room was totally comfortable microwave,refrigerator,free wifi internet and free local made bit more comfortable. like to be ck in coming year

“Quality budget motel”

Conveniently located on Jericho Turnpike near 106/107. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Within short driving distance to many restaurants and shopping. Good price value. Would stay there again.

“Cost effective business motel”

I live out of state and commute weekly. When I am in NY I stay at this motel. I have been doing this for some time now and I find for the price this is a good deal. The rooms are quiet, clean and have comfortable beds. I find the staff to be very responsive to my requests.

“Perfectly Adequate”

I was impressed with the staff at Meadowbrook. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The room was adequate for our overnight stay, esp. considering the price.

“Recommended if you don't mind motor lodges”

I booked this motel knowing it was a motel and that doesn't mean four star accomodations. Still, I was pleasantly surprised. The room seemed clean. The bed was comfortable. The towels were large and soft (not what I expected from other reviews). The staff seemed nice and helpful. The location of the motel is really nice - two minutes from the hall for my friends wedding and about five minutes from Broadway Mall with all the restaurants and shops you might need. I wanted an inexpensive place to sleep and shower and that's what I got. There were a couple of needed repairs on things like the shower door and microfridge, but nothing that negatively affected the stay. I'd recommend the Meadowbrook and would stay there again if I needed to be in that area.

“Very nice staff”

Richard was most friendly and helpful. I had forgotten a flashlight and he loaned me one, as well as a small standing lamp for the bathroom at night. Alexandra was likewise most helpful and cheerful as I checked out Sat. a.m. She helped me find my way to the memorial service in Locust Valley. I especially appreciated that this motel allowed my sister and I and her 13 year old daughter to share one double room. That saved us a lot of money; not many hotels will allow this simple request. I recommend this hotel .

This is a good place for basic accomendations, nothing special but not bad either.

“Poor Service”

I was disappointed with the appearance of the hotel. I did not fell comfortable or secure staying there. I could not get to the front desk for a wake up call. Questionable guests, and security glass on the front desk, did not provide assurances of my safety or the safety of my belongings.
