Locked in my roomPosted Jun 28, 2015
My wife and I were locked in our room for well over an hour with a maintenance person and couldn't get out. When I went to use the room phone that didn't work either.

Great restaurant attached, Sonoma Grill.Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: location, rate
Cons: nice lobby, but in a bit of disarray
Would stay again, nice place, good eats. Rooms very comfortable, and they use sleep number beds.

OK for 1 nightPosted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: The location and price
Cons: A phone that worked. More responsive staff. Better breakfast in restaurant.
If you want a place to sleep for one night, this hotel is OK. The rooms are very basic, but clean.

Dirtiest hotelPosted Jun 8, 2015
Had to be moved to another room due to roaches in our room , vents not working in bathroom , no microwave or refridgerator , dirty comforter had to get clean ones from downstairs , baby food left in closet , water in sink would not go down.

Best room rate and near the airportPosted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Location near the airport and rates.
Check in was easy, although they did not have my reservation. It was quickly remedied and I proceeded to my room. The room was ok but had no conveniences like fridge or microwave. Free internet was about the only extra. Room did have a coffee maker. The biggest detractor for me was the filthy carpet. It was stained and the soles of my feet were black after walking on it barefoot. Also, I stayed 2 nights and when I returned to the room the second evening there had been no room service, trash can not emptied, bed not made and towels not changed.

Decent hotel for the pricePosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: The room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was significantly cheaper than any other hotel in the area.
Cons: The hallways and elevators need significant improvement, they were both hot and had a funky smell to them.
Location: I had a wedding in the area so the location was fine for me. Otherwise, not a great location for the beaches, airports, or other things you may want.
I grew up in the area, so I know pretty much everything around it. I needed a cheap hotel for the weekend for a friend's wedding, and this fit the bill. My friend and his wife checked out the place, and would not use the place for their out of town guests. I travel a good deal, so this hotel was fine for me. The room was great, and looked fairly new and updated, but most importantly, the room was clean. The elevators and hallways were a wreck however. They were both hot and had a weird funky smell to it. It looked like they are in the process of updating the whole hotel, so since the room itself was more than fine, I give them a pass, especially with the rate per night. Any other hotel in the area would have been $75 to $100 more for the weekend so take that under consideration. The location and access to the hotel were not great, but for where the wedding was, it was perfect for me. I checked that I would recommend to a friend, but I would tell them about all the imperfections before hand so they can decide if the price is worth the warts. For me personally, it was.

The first room we had there was a problem from the last guest's when we told the front desk about it the clerk Gina was so nice about it she apologized for the inconvenience and upgraded our room if it wasn't for her I don't think I would have been happy overall the hotel needs some upgrading for the price your charged but our stay thanks to Gina was comfortable

Not too impressedPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Easy access to where I needed to be.
Cons: The overall cleanliness of the hotel and outside attractiveness - I was not impressed by either
Location: Location is the center of almost everything so it's easy to travel east or west. Being right at the LIE/495 you have the ease of travel.
I wasn't so impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel itself, it could use an overall cleanup. The carpeting in the hallways needs a total cleanup. I noticed the same coffee cup sitting in the same spot in the hallway for 3 days of my stay never removed by staff. I was never ID'd upon my check-in and that for one had me not impressed as if someone stole my identity would have had me in an uproar. I did add an extra day to my stay and the check out and check in for the change-over I was ID'd for, that staff member was better. I was also not happy about the fact that the outside entrance not attached to the main entrance was broken and anyone could enter not keycarded!
