Had a great stay and the staff is always friendly. That being said, they are under renovations which made it a bit rough. The management has inforced a new $50 deposit that I haven't paid in the pass. They also do have any microwaves in the rooms anymore, for some old reason. To go from rooms with a kitchenette, to not having even a microwave is a turn off. Might have to find a new location to go to whenever I go into town.

We booked this property on line. When we arrived the lobby and first floor were being renovated. The check in desk was dirty and covered in dust and debris laying in the halls. Ice machines not functional. No breakfast, no coffee This should have been stated in the website. The lobby was bare and covered in dust. I had chose pay at facility and they had already run my card. After walking around the hotel, we decided not to stay for three nights. We stayed one night and I am waiting to be refunded the balance for the other two nights.

Hi Kelly, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay while here. However, the websites do reflect that we are undergoing renovations. Which could entail the closure of some of our facilities here at the hotel. Hopefully once we are finished with the remodel you are able to come visit us again and see the beauty through all the mess that we have going on currently.

First, property is going through renovation, TV issue. First room, second room same problem but able to resolve tv issue. The room itself looks as though the door had been pried open. The guest entrance that should have needed key access opens to anyone.

Comfortable king bed, light bulb missing, but didn’t tell front desk till I left because there were other lights, microwave tray was dirty but other than that everything was clean. Just an older hotel going through renovations but overall good condition, safe location, lots of restaurants around and near family

The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, the tv remote didn’t work, the bathroom counter was dirty with previous guests spilled coffee, NO water pressure-just a trickle. Very sticky dirty floor. On the positive side-beds were comfortable. Will not stay here again and I don’t recommend.

First night there and the bed sheets had multiple stains on them, totally fine if they look washed but it didn’t look like they were. Second night there was a cockroach on the pillow, and in the morning we found 2 more (bottom of the bed in the sheets and in the bathroom). After that we were mildly paranoid to sleep there.

The staff was accommodating to place us in a room close by when we needed to move due to several issues in our current room. Their maintenance tech, Aaron was very pleasant when he tried to address the issues. He apologized and even made sure that our next room met with our expectations. We will definitely return.

Overall the stay was nice, however, there were three small things that made it to the con list: 1) when I arrived to my room the maintenance man was still in there and made me wait in the hall for 10 minutes after telling me it should only take 5; 2) the toilet looked as if they hadn’t scrubbed it in months, needs a good Clorox gel soak and scrub; 3) there was an odd smell in the room, not the worst but definitely not what you want to walk in and be hit in the face with.

The cooked breakfast was great. The laundry room was convenient. The hotel was very clean. The pool was green though. I was looking forward to swimming, so that was a disappointment. Most of the staff were friendly.

Stay wasn’t all we planned on it being.
We got there thinking all of there amenities such as the convenience of the pool was going to be available no it wasn’t and that why I chose this stay. Our room should’ve had a microwave in it as to the advertisement of the pictures when down to the lobby and let them know that we didn’t receive quality sleep because of the loud banging and the smell of matches. Never gotten any type of apologies. I do praise the housekeeper she’s a bright skin lady with a very passionate personality and tried her best to help me so I do want to make it clear that there’s a few ladies there that will make sure you taking care of to the best of the ability.

The staff was very patient, accommodating and apologetic as the property had no power when I arrived. At that point it was thought to be at least 2 days before power would be restored. A strong storm had come through the night before and the majority of the city was without power. My reservation was cancelled with no charge without my having to ask, which was admirable. We were allowed to sit in the lobby as we planned our next move. I based my review on the things that I was able to observe and it was a place I would try again. I had only one disappointment that could not be blamed on mother nature. The pool was not open and there appeared to be no plan to do so. It was empty with badly peeling paint. I was with a group and the pool was one of the selling points for this property.

Check in was delayed by 4 hours with no real explanation. After we got checked in, we were informed that power had gone out due to a storm. Then, we get to our room and the toilet wouldn't flush. We were told we could go to the 1st floor bathroom. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The elevator was very slow, too. By the end of our stay, the bathrom sink didn't even work. Front desk was no help and didn't seem to care. The main floor/lobby area had a terrible smell, too.

First of all I LOVE that they are pet friendly, I was so greatful to be able to have my two dogs with me. We did have a very nasty storm hit my second night there and we lost power around 12:30. The fire alarm did go off, but the staff were ready to answer any questions that they were able to at that time. They got the fire department out there to have everything checked out and the alarm was only going off because of the storm. I was on the third floor and had to leave really early that morning to go to work, because of the power outage I of course had to take everything down via the stairwell, however, when I asked the office ladies if they could watch my two dogs while I ran back up to get their cage brought down to my car they happily agreed since I wouldn’t have been able to walk the dogs and the cage down at the same time. If I had to stay in a hotel again this is one I would choose again. They are inexpensive, clean, and polite. Thank you to all the staff for all your help from my arrival to my check out.

Well the room had a smell to it when we opened the door The pool had algae growing in it so we could not get into it and then a storm hit and knocked the power out about 12:30 in the morning so we had to hike up and down four flights of stairs when we left.. and had to use our own flashlight in the stairwell because the hotel lights didn't light it up

I hated EVERYTHING about this hotel, except for the front desk clerks (Tonya, Carmen and Iris). They were very helpful and sweet! This hotel is HORRIBLE, dirty, stinks, TV remote didn't work, no safe, no phone, was put in the handicap room to where the shower would spray out into the bathroom, it was a very bad stay. Thank you to the Tonya, Carmen and Iris for making my stay a little easier.

There was no soap, shampoo or anything of that nature in the room. We had to ask for a hair dryer and it took a long time for it to be delivered. There was nothing except cereal or fruit for breakfast. No eggs or meat or waffle batter. It was a joke to say breakfast was include with the room stay. The television was disconnected from the DIRECTV box and luckily I figured that out and got it to work. Lighting in the room was dim. The pool was green and not usable. The front desk was understaffed. Overall, I will not stay here again!

The staff person was okay but STRONG chemical smell in lobby. They had chairs up so it seemed like they just didn’t dilute the mopping solution. However, we got up to our room and it smelled terrible and like someone has sprayed straight disinfectant spray in the vents. Things clearly hadn’t been cleaned as far as surfaces go and the tile part of the floors were slick. It was $120 for the night and I get that it’s a cheaper hotel but the cleanliness issues were just off putting.

It is likely that you came in right after we may have mopped the floors but rest assured that we use a premixed solution that is already diluted. As for the room I am showing that you checked in with myself at 6:46 PM, I would have been more than happy to switch you over to a different room had I known that there was a situation with it. Again, we strive to make sure that our property is kept clean and want to make sure that the guest is happy. Since I did not hear anything from you about there being an odor in room 322, we are only left with believing that the room was up to par, as they are inspected by a lead housekeeper before guests ever enter the room. Let me again apologize for the inconvenience, if we are blessed with your presence in the future and there is anything that we can do to make your stay more pleasant, please make sure to let us know. We could have gotten you moved into another room immediately. Thank you for your time and your review, we appreciate the feedback.

Break In
After checking in and unloading we noticed the outside door did not lock we arrived late after working all day and figured it would be fine. On Saturday morning at 9:07 am someone broke into our hotel room. We were asleep and in our room the noise woke us up when the dead bolt was flipped we announced we were inside and they still continued they were able to open the door but the top latch stopped them from entering. After the initial shock we inspected our door to find scratches and holes where someone had pried the door open. We let the hotel staff know but was told there was no manager on duty and they would contact corporate. I requested a police report but was told there was no need. We travel a lot and this came as quite a shock had the latch not been locked this could have gone from bad to worse.

Helpful staff, but lots of issues
When opening the door of our assigned room, we encountered an overwhelming smell of tobacco smoke, despite the non-smoking indications everywhere and the warning at the front desk of a $250 cleaning fee for violators; the room also had a pair of abandoned glasses from the previous guest. The staff graciously reassigned us to another room which did not have any odors, but there, the toilet did not want to flush, and one of our two room keys was very finicky. Also, wi-fi was very spotty in that room, even though it was fine in the lobby; perhaps that room was too far from the access point.

Thank you for being so patient with us. We have currently undergone a management change and trying to work out the kinks and bugs. There are things that we are working on diligently such as a new Wi-Fi set up and new toilets. It's a slow process so again we appreciate you being patient and kind during this transition. We look forward to seeing you on your next stay!!
