The so-so rating was simply because there was a power outage, which lasted several hours, right after our check-in. This was not the fault of the hotel, but it meant we had to shower in the dark and eat our "road" snacks for dinner.

Although the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, the bathroom was sub-par. There was no hot water, only slightly warm water. Even my husband thought his shower was quite cold. Also, the toilet seat was loose and there was no Kleenex. Finally, both the floor and tub need replacing.

Th fitted sheet had a big tip unit. The sheet was old and should have been throw away but housekeeping g put on the bed anyway.

We stayed in room 211 one night. The shower are could you a good cleaning/sterilization. Roof over shower/bath appears to have been damaged & poorly repaired- grayish undertone from water damage? Bathroom tile grout needs work- lots of it missing other areas very sloppy, surely not done by a true professional. Closet door won’t close by magnet. In the AM breakfast start at 6 am & much to our disappointment no coffee!! The machine not working, no water to make tea etc. it was the most ill prepared situation on how to mass produce for guests. We left after grabbing a few boiled eggs & a muffin. Not a great stay.

Great hotel
This hotel is great! It is very clean and modern and very well cared for. We had a king bed with a couch and it was very roomy. The pool area has a sauna and a hot tub. We used the sauna and it was very nice. The breakfast has lots of options.

The town itself is depressed, run-down, full of boarded-up buildings and businesses that have permanently closed. Lordsburg itself has seen better days. Having said that, this Comfort Inn is a hidden gem, with an incredible breakfast nook, indoor pool and hot tub, and cleanliness. This is clearly the nicest place in town!

This was our stop on the way to Texas from San Diego. We arrived after 12:30am and were very tired. We picked this hotel mostly because of the 8.8/10 rating and that they allowed pets. The front desk worker was nice enough, but he kept going in and out to a car in the parking lot. When we walked in to the room, it wreaked of urine (from those pets they allow) that was never cleaned up. The floor in the bathroom was filthy. The chair had a big stain of who knows what on the seat. The beds were comfy enough, but i was really worried about the cleanliness of the sheets after seeing & smelling the rest of the room. Tried calling the front desk but never picked up. Not sure how this hotel got the rating they have, especially when they are almost 3x the cost of any other hotel in this area. Unless youre desperate i would choose a different hotel.

We get to our room, it is stuffy, so we turn air on. We also notice the safety deadbolt is broke off. We told them about that. We go back to room and the ac is not working. Told them about ac and she said she would come up. She comes up and says you have to have fan on high. It comes on then after she left it went off. Never cooled down and never came back on.

The best part of my stay was the staff. All were very friendly and helpful but John, the manager, went above and beyond for me. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Lordsburg!

This was one of the cleanest hotels that we have ever stayed at. My wife hates hair...always inspects and did not fine one anywhere. The bathroom was spotless. The bed was SUPER comfortable! Wish we had one like it at home. Nice hot shower. The only thing missing was the complementary bottle of shampoo but we always take our own anyway. Highly recommend!

Quick overnight stay
Stopped in after a 10 hour drive late check in around 10 and our room was a magnificent king size felt like sleeping on a cloud. Had to snooze my alarm a few times to enjoy it another hour lol
