nice hype

Posted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Find a way of getting others to stay here.
Location: Nothing nearby of interest to us.
Saw this hotel online and thought WOW! Not so much when we got there. We were the only guests there I think, which rather freaked us out. First impression is having difficulty finding the place and then difficult to find the office....no signage. The room was nice enough, nice shower, big enough towels that you didn't wish you were at home but we had this eerie feeling that we were staying in a ghost house. We ate at their restaurant (which is thankfully also open to a very nice housing development next door) and it was the highlight of our stay. I doubt that we will stay here again.

serene hideaway

Pros: loved the restaurant and the included breakfasts were substantial and delicious; big thick towels and quality beds; anything we asked for we got
Cons: few more hooks in the bathroom or towel racks
Location: We liked walking to the port on the empty road and the proximity of Juncalito and our sportfishing friends Jose Torres. Loreto was close too by car
We picked this hotel for its location, away from town, off the beach, but a convenient walk to the Puerto. loved the vegetative surrounding, with pool as centerpiece, spectacular mountains always in view and palms and flowering trees and flowers all around the grounds, totally delightful. We loved that each room had a veranda with comfortable furniture for resting and birding and taking in the peaceful beauty of the area.

Best boutique hotel in Loreto

Posted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Tripui is a paradise for those who have the necessity to get rid of stress, enjoy the 60m2 room, close to marine dock and quiet place.
Cons: Daily room cleaning should be implemented.
Location: Fishing, go scuba diving or snorkeling in the beautiful pristine, crystal clear beaches in front of danzante island and Coronado island.
After checking lots of reviews and pics from boutique hotels in Mexico; we decided to go on a trip to Baja. The trip started in Loreto in a place that could let us forget the noises and fast life from the city. We picked the right place: few miles away from the town and airport, close to the marine dock, full of nature, this nice facility called Tripui RV & Hotel, had the salt n' pepper from our trip. They received us with fresh made lemonade; told us which was the catch of the day and got nice cabrillas and parrot fish 'al mojo de ajo' with scallops and shrimp that had this butter flavor which was by far the best I had before. The pool, properly sized, could allow me to practice my swimming while watching in one side the green mountains and on the other side lots of fruit trees. Mexican style architecture was well taken care with 'talavera' details.

Beautiful, quiet, excellent service

Posted Feb 18, 2013
Pros: Beautiful setting, great food, tranquil atmosphere
Cons: Distance from town, lack of nearby amenities
Location: About 20 minutes south of Loreto by car
A beautiful little oasis in the desert. Large well-kept rooms, a pretty pool and desert setting, and an excellent restaurant on site. The only negative is that this hotel is some distance from Loreto (about 20 minutes by car). But we found that to be a plus, because we were looking for a quiet and restful getaway. The restaurant staff were friendly and very patient with our fractured Spanish, and we felt that we really developed a relationship with them over the course of our 7-day stay. This is not a jumping hot spot or party central. But if you want excellent service in a beautiful and peaceful setting, then you should definitely check out Hotel Tripui.

We loved the hotel, the only thing we didn't like is that there was no refrigeration in the room. Everyone was very nice and i am surprized this hotel only gets a 2.5 star rating. The pool was very clean, quiet, nice little oasis. We enjoyed our stay. This Hotel does not carry change, so make sure you bring plenty of it. We got our free breakfast, but there was no "buffet" like it was advertised. All in all, very nice place. I give it a 4 star rating
