“Hermosa Beach living at its best...”

The location is fabulous. Within walking distance to everything. Unpack your bike and lose yourself riding along The Strand listening to your favorite music. Watch beautiful sunsets and really enjoy all that Hermosa Beach has to offer.

“Great room on beach”

Overall a nice, relaxing, clean, hotel right on the beach. Can't beat the location. Walk to restaurants, bars, pier. Cable and elevator both went out while we were there, but quickly fixed. Big tub was wonderful. Limited continental breakfast choices - apples, bananas, milk, orange juice, bran, bagles, or scones available. Casual atmosphere.

“Amazing Views - Excellent Service - Hopping Location - Family Friendly!”

I stayed here with my daughter for two nights - would go back again with the whole family! The staff is more than friendly and very accommodating! Right on the beach and steps away from restaurants, shopping, bike rentals, etc. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the hotel provides chairs and towels. LOVED it - and would highly reccomend!

“Love this hotel on the Strand”

Very wonderful hotel. Nice complimentary breakfast. Love the Aveda products, complimentary beach chairs and towels. Helpful, friendly staff. Location is awesome.

“What a great place!”

Location is directly on The Strand and beach. We sat on our balcony and people watched. Wonderful rooms complete with a working gas fireplace, frig, microwave, 2 T.V sets and a separate living room area. Service was excellent with very friendly staff. Rooms were immaculate. Within walking distance of all the stores, places to eat and clubs. Would have liked to park in a regular lot and not use the valet, but it was great to have the car ready for us. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

“Great Location, great facility”

Loved the location, the room, as well as the amenities!! The bed was comfortable, and the bedding luxurious. The living room was also cozy with a great little fireplace on those chilly nights. With the hotel's location, right on the beach, there was direct access to the beach boardwalk for the job, bike ride, etc. What was especially nice was the hotel offered beach towels and beach chairs at no extra charge. These days when you are charged for everything, it was a pleasant surprise. They even provided bottle water in your room. The staff was very pleasant and quite helpful, Although the standard rooms did not offer great view (the view was of a parking garage immediately behind the hotel), but the comfort of the room, as well as the close proximity (less than a block) to the pier and area restaurants made up for it. I would definitely go back anytime

Manhattan Beach is a short 10-minute job or 20-min walk to the north - beautiful beach front houses Redondo Beach is even a shorter walk to the south of the hotel - great restaurants and Marina Hollywood area is only half hour away by car - you can see celebrity homes, Rodeo drive, Sunset Blvd, Warner Bros Studios, historic Capitol Records, Kodak Theatre, Paramount Studios, and so much more.

“Loved it!!”

I can't complain about anything! I am very OCD about cleanliness and usually only stay in brand new hotels. This hotel was very clean and very nice. Every detail was taken care of down to the choice of Aveda products in the bathroom. The local atmosphere on the strand was a lot of fun for my kids. There is a pizza place on the strand where you can get pizza made from scratch that is amazing. I fed a family of 5 for $15. The service, especially the Valet guys was excellent!!! The only thing I would change is maybe add some protein option to breakfast.
