“Great Location, great facility”
Loved the location, the room, as well as the amenities!! The bed was comfortable, and the bedding luxurious. The living room was also cozy with a great little fireplace on those chilly nights. With the hotel's location, right on the beach, there was direct access to the beach boardwalk for the job, bike ride, etc. What was especially nice was the hotel offered beach towels and beach chairs at no extra charge. These days when you are charged for everything, it was a pleasant surprise. They even provided bottle water in your room. The staff was very pleasant and quite helpful, Although the standard rooms did not offer great view (the view was of a parking garage immediately behind the hotel), but the comfort of the room, as well as the close proximity (less than a block) to the pier and area restaurants made up for it. I would definitely go back anytime
“Hope to return!”
Great location as base for L.A. travels. The Strand is great for people watching, restaurants within walking distance, bikes available for rent next door...location-location-location. Most mornings while having breakfast you can eat breakfast while watching the beach volleyball players warm up. Be aware that parking is an additional cost albeit valet. If you have the funds, spring for the beach front rooms though no complaint with our ocean view room. Staff was very helpful in regard to local restaurants, L.A. tours, etc.
“A Must Stay”
This was the second time we stayed here because we loved it so much the first time. You CAN NOT beat the location. It's right on the boardwalk. The rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious with granite countertops, garden tubs, and a glass shower. It's worth the price to have a view of the ocean. Just sitting on the balcony is enough of a vacation. You WANT to be in your room! We spent a lot of time just hanging out in the room with the sliding glass doors open so we could enjoy the view of the ocean and people watch as well. Hermosa Beach is a great beach community. There's lots to do. One of our favorite things is being able to walk everywhere or ride the bikes that we rented. I can't think of one negative thing. We will definitely stay here again and again. I love Hermosa Beach and the Beach House Hotel!
“Good place to stay on teh beach”
The rooms are very large. We payed the low price and stayed away from the each, but that was fine for us.

“Casual chic”
The hotel is in a wonderful location, right on the Strand where you can watch bikers, walkers, volleyball players, etc. while enjoying breakfast. It was extremely clean and charming in its decor, with fireplaces in every room. I would definitely return there next time--can't wait for a next time!!
“What a great place!”
Location is directly on The Strand and beach. We sat on our balcony and people watched. Wonderful rooms complete with a working gas fireplace, frig, microwave, 2 T.V sets and a separate living room area. Service was excellent with very friendly staff. Rooms were immaculate. Within walking distance of all the stores, places to eat and clubs. Would have liked to park in a regular lot and not use the valet, but it was great to have the car ready for us. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Read to the end! I liked everything except one thing. Instead, the form of the ocean we got kind of a quarter and a balcony directly in front of the building in scaffolding. Ocean view partial score. Only from the balcony, look out, if with him. Our room was the last in the body that is perpendicular to the Ocean 322. No need to cheat. And write - a view of the quarter, scaffolding, road, and a partial ocean view from the balcony. In the first minute we are very much spoiled the mood. As for the hotel, everything was fine. Location excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Two huge flat TV. All you can think of yourself in a room there. Room cleaning excellent. Bed linen and fine. Bathroom excellent. A huge number of towels in different sizes and all sorts of trivia. Everything is thought (nice). Parking fine. Staff excellent. All are very friendly and kind. The administration and staff know their job very well. True we were then very happy with their room and were happy to have received this very room. We left at 5 am on the promenade, there were lots of people, very noisy, and all look in the room. And all of this until late evening. People on the balconies looked very tired. The hotel is recommended to all, if it is to specify the correct information about the type of room and balcony. Very clean, sterile, a pleasant place in the right quiet area.
“Would definitely return”
Great location......close to many restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Beach is right in front of hotel, not like other hotel pictures that lead you to believe they are close to the beach but are not right there. Hotel staff were wonderful and very accommodating to all our needs. Room was larger than expected and the bed was luxuriously comfortable. Refrigerator in room was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent and included in the price. Beach towels were provided at the front desk to use each day, also.
