I thought the hotel was adorable and was pleasantly surprised by how cute the room was! Biggest downfall for me was that they don't come make your bed or take/give fresh towels unless you go down to the front desk. I must have missed that in the listing, but the location was great and valet very convenient! Just be prepared to pay for valet, as it is the only option for parking.

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for exploring Hollywood and easy access to freeways for other Southern California destinations. Considering the age of the building and the star rating, the room felt very swanky and cool. The street noise was muffled very well by the shutters in the rooms, the beds were comfortable, and the Old Hollywood decor was fantastic. I miss daily housekeeping that was standard in hotels pre-covid. This hotel said we could have housekeeping every second day on request, however when we requested clean towels and garbage takeaway mid week they forgot to do it. We had to ask for towels again late that evening when we returned. The valet parking was a surprise but worked out very well. Plan to have small bills on hand to tip the valets as they do a great job. We did not try the restaurant as the prices seemed high but Kettle Glazed Donuts a block away was great for morning coffee and donuts. There is also a grocery store just down the street.

Great hotel in Hollywood. The room is clean, with basic facilities. There will be a little noise, but that's acceptable to me. The transportation is very convenient. Really a good place to sleep for short term travelers.

Overall our stay was great. They gave us an older room that is partially renovated but clean. The room doesn't look anything like the Expedia photos. The front desk person, gray hair with glasses was rude. He provided some breakfast information around the neighborhood assuming that we can't afford dining at the restaurant attached to the hotel. When we had UberEATS delivered to us, he was extremely rude to the driver and the driver complained to me which was the first time ever. If you are unhappy working here, don't work here and be mean to others who are paying to enjoy their vacation. One more thing, we stayed three nights and they did not clean our room, their excuse was Covid. I mean, Covid is never going away and how many hotels we've stayed over the past years and every one of them had room cleaning services!

The room smelled very bad and moldy . Brought someone in and they agreed so they changed the room . The shower in both rooms was a weak drizzle no pressure . Also the sink was not draining proper . The room smell in the first room was so bad it gave Me a headache .

Pros: great location with short walk to amenities. Decor was unique with a fun vibe. Cons: road noise but window didn't seem to be in place. Very very low shower pressure.

We have stayed here numerous times and really enjoy the themed rooms. Rooms are always clean and the staff friendly. They now force patrons to pay $30/day to valet park, which we weren’t thrilled about.

I left my sweater and when I called in they told me that they didn’t find anything. The housekeeper that cleaned my room obviously took it but they think it’s more important to defend her than to be honest. Moral of the story, don’t count on your stuff being returned if you leave it behind.

Good morning, We did look into this. Some of the time a guest might leave clothing on the bed and they are taken with the sheets by accident . To accuse a housekeeper of taking something is not very nice. We have a very large lost and found where we keep many items for 90 days or more. We would like to always help our guests, but we cant control an issue when a guest makes the mistake. We will keep an eye out for the sweater!

We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel and room was clean and up to date - love Hollywood concept. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Also enjoyed bar and diner on site for convenience. Location was perfect as well.

Convenient for a quick walk around Sunset Blvd. and a good lunch at the Running Goose. Walkable distance from the Los Feliz @ Vermont DASH shuttle stop to Griffith Observatory. Early checkout was available. The mini-fridge was not running and stunk of rotten something when I opened its door. Noisy due to nearby 101 Fwy and single-pane windows. Drive-thru ramp was under construction so pick-up and drop-off for Uber rides was awkward.

The property was clean and in a convenient location near the 101 and Hollywood Boulevard. Only real downside was ongoing construction causing noise, though that of course is a temporary issue.

Front desk staff was very uninterested by our presence, chatting with each other in Spanish, talking about us (which I understood because I am fluent in Spanish). Bar is horrible, the bartender was drunk and loud, having her best time with her friends at the bar. Rooms are clean, but public areas aren’t that appealing. Rooms facing the street are very noisy. Koodos to the restaurant though, which is delicious, packed and so friendly!

When we arrived it was difficult to find how to get into the hotel and were not aware it was valet parking only at 38.50 a day! There was only 1 person working the counter and he had 3 ppl waiting and 1 on the phone waiting so check in took a while and he was rude to the people in front of us. The roooms were cute and spacious but noisy with the windows open from the traffic. The pool is not heated which we were not made aware of so was ice cold and no hot tub. Breakfast is not included but there is a restaurant which is sub par dinner food Overall experience was 2 out of 5 stars for a boutique hotel.

All good, room nice clean and quiet, pool awesome, wifi working, all the stuff i wanted to see weren’t too far. didn’t need a car at all. Staff friendly. I give it 5 stars. only thing i was missing is breakfast included, but that is not that important. Would recommend and come back for sure. excellent!

We loved the quirky rooms and the location was quite convenient for accessing both Universal and Downtown LA. The area surrounding the hotel was a bit sketchy so we didn’t go out at night but room was quiet, nice and had two double beds which suited our needs!

Michael, Every hotel in a big city charges for parking, in the hollywood area we are one of the lowest fees. When you are making the reservation for any hotel on a web site hotel the parking fee is clearly stated....Next time take a look and please understand We have no benefit not to clearly post charges in advance and allow the guest to make the choice prior to booking with us.

Overall the actual property wasn’t bad but they don’t tell you is that you have to pay a resort fee when you arrive and $37 a day valet. If you don’t pay it you have to park on the street or somewhere else. Staff is incredibly rude and had a very condescending tone when speaking with me.

Thank you for the review, every booking site has the same placement for the parking fee's for all hotels. All hotels in the Hollywood area would require a parking / valet fee. Ours at 35 is some of the lowest in the area. Most are 55 and above.

As a filmmaker and film historian staying at the Adler has been a dream ! From the amazing staff of Ahmed, Max and Abraham to walls of memorabilia this is a perfect Hollywood hotel . Yes it’s rustic and yes you pay for valet but the valet service is so fast and easy it’s amazing ! Gymn is small but fulfills your needs and diner attached is famous . Plus you zip onto Franklin are at hot spots in minutes .
