“too small”

we came as a Family. we used a room with 2 double beds.the room was not very larg and the bathroom - especially at the second time we came was very small. we couldn't put our teeth brushes together or use the bathroom at the same time. the second room we took was also very noisy and we could hear the "elefants" who used the room above us getting ready for their flight in the middl of the night...

“Big Mistake”

I ended up here by mistake. I was suppose to have booked at the other Best Western further east on 3910 Riverside but overlooked the address when I confirmed with Expedia (I'm not too familiar with the area and didn't realize that there was another one down the road). When I first noticed this location from the highway, I already knew it was going to be rundown. From the lobby during check in, I thought that things weren't going to be that bad. The decor was pleasant and the customer service from the front desk was great. Okay, so I'm making my way to the room, the pool looks nice but the building looks pretty bad. Once I entered the room, BOOM! a smell hit me in the face; like someone sprayed a bunch of stuff to cover up a nasty smell. These rooms need a serious overhaul. Cramped bathroom, stained walls, old CRT tvs, smelly, no bueno! I travel a lot but the only other Best Western I've been to is in ND and it was great. Would NOT ever return to this location!

“Clean and inexpensive”

I stay here twice a month on business. Clean rooms, Japanese restaurant / bar for sushi/ sports attached. Pick an inside room to avoid traffic noise. Quality flat screens in room, ice machine near by....enjoy...

“Great hotel, good location - close to everything but off the beaten path”

Very nice, clean and well maintained hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was nice - lots of choices and well stocked. Room was clean and quiet; pool was clean and warm and a nice size. HIghly recommended and will return!

“good hotel to stay in”

The carpet was obviously quite old. We stayed in a two double bed room, which was quite spacious compared to other comfort inns i have been in, but the bathroom was quite small. I would have expected a better facility for the price I paid. But overall it was a OK experience.

Nice hotel and it helps to have a car. Rooms and staff were very nice. Good and free breakfast deal in the morning.

“Nice hotel/staff staff but noisy”

The hotel is well maintained and the staff very professional and nice. The only complaint is that it is noisy if you stay in a first-floor room. The ceiling is paper thin and insulation is virtually non existent. We had a family with kids above us and you could hear them talking, crying, fighting, going to the bathroom, etc. Other than that, the hotel is fine for the price.

“Would recommend to my out-of-town guests”

We needed a local hotel for a few nights to avoid the dust and fumes of new hardwood floor installation/varnishing in our home. This hotel (and price found through Expedia) met our needs perfectly for quality and location. The only downside was that I believe I saw that the hotel advertised free WIFI service in the rooms, AND the front desk check-in staff agreed. After NOT connecting to the internet in my room (even my smart phone did pick up a signal), and several phone calls to front desk (not helpful...they said I "should" be getting it), I then called Best Western's national tech-service hotline. They looked up the Mikado and informed me that there was no WIFI in the rooms, only in the lobby and restaurant. Perhaps the service reaches some rooms but not all. Nonetheless, the front desk (instructed by the national tech-support person) was finally able to provide me with an ethernet cable, and I was able to hook that up in our room and all was fine! It's too bad the front desk staff was not trained to provide this knowledge and help upfront, without national office prompting! This issue aside, our stay was fine...and a full breakfast is provided as well!
