Hidden gem in the middle of West HollywoodPosted Jul 8, 2014
Great rooms, excellent pool. Very comfortable and homey atmosphere but all mod con and attentive staff. Close to all the hot spots on Sunset and away from the rougher areas.

A gem in the heart of West HollywoodPosted Jul 6, 2014
The hotel was a bit pricey, but every penny was worth its value. The courtyard, windows, pool were always full with flowers, room was spacious, and well serviced. The front-desk staff was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was to die for - fill yourself up and skip lunch. Great to have parking on site, but it could have been a bit cheaper, like $10/day instead of $18? A nude bar a block away was a mole on the cheek, but that is city life. Carney's and Saddle Ranch across the street and Pink Taco a block away were great eateries. In all, this Best Western was one of the highlights of the trip for our family.

Quiet Oasis on the Sunset Strip exists!Posted Jul 3, 2014
Wonderful pool & gardens. Only downside is breakfast area way too cramped and fake egg & cheese omelets have to go. Bread doesn't fit toaster.

Nice Hotel, close to HollywoodPosted Jun 30, 2014
Changed to this hotel after going to one in North Hollywood, absolute life saver! Hollywood tours pick you up and drop you off here, easy access (via Car) to Hollywood/Santa Monica Boulevard which will take you to the coast or freeway. Breakfast room is small and breakfast is small (used to European breakfasts). Nice pool, with some room opening out onto the pool area. Really enjoyed my stay and would return no questions .

View of a wallPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: It was clean and up to date. Reasonable parking. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Cons: If you cannot provide the room requested, say so. That is enough for me to not return.
When I booked, I asked for a room overlooking the pool . I was given a room looking at a wall. Rooms are very small and like a dungeon. I would recommend the hotel to a friend with caution to ensure they get a room overlooking the pool.

Great hotel! Bus stop is right in front of it, although the wait may be long at times. There's a pool and a gym room, so if you're the kind that needs to keep their routine going, this place does the trick. Free continental breakfast, which isn't bad at all. Free printing for hotel guests, if you would like to get your universal studios online and print them at home, you can use their printing facility free of charge! Staffs are great, always courteous and willing to help out. Totally worth your money.

Fabulous hotel right in the middle of Sunset StripPosted May 21, 2014
This hotel is very central and most attractive in an old Spanish style. Parking and free WiFi. Unbelievably comfortable bed and lovely room which looked down on the pool and courtyard. Loved it so much. Will definitely go back.
