“Excellent value for the Redondo Beach area”
We stayed for 5 nights, and every day the room was cleaned well and supplied with fresh towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Also, the room had a mini-refrigerator, microwave oven, and ironing board. One of my complaints would be the lack of sound insulation from the room above us. We could hear footsteps, but it wasn't a terrible problem. The continental breakfast was very good with a selection of bread, yogurt, waffles, boiled eggs, cereals, fruit, juice, and coffee, There was always plenty of everything. Finally, there was a computer in the lobby for customers and complimentary wi-fi.
“This is a hotel we stay at several times a year because we know it is a decent place to stay.”
This is a great place to stay. We stay because it's near relatives. But the area is nice too. Not far from the beach and great restruants.
“not worth it”
its ghetto
“Clean and Affordable”
Staff was very helpful. I had a personal emergency and they were more than willing to help me out. For the price, I would recommend. The only downside was that there was a large party going on in the hotel and it did keep me up. I did wonder why this wasn't addressed by the staff.
“Better than expected”
Jay was AWESOME! We were traveling as a large group and had a car full of luggage that we preferred not to keep on top of the car and on the back luggage adapter while we went to Universal Studios. Check in was not until the afternoon and we wanted to get to US early. I called about 7:00 am and Jay said not to worry about it, just come on in and we will take care of your luggage. When we arrived at 9:30 am he had 2 rooms ready for us, issued us keys and allowed us to put our stuff in the rooms. We stayed 2 nights and can't say enough good things about our stay. Room, breakfast, housekeeping, all was GREAT!
“Not impressed”
Location was not good. We thought we were staying at the BW located near the pier. Office closed at 9 so I couldn't use the computer to check my email. The breakfast area could only seat about 10-12 people so most people had to take their food to their room.
“Good Buy for the Location”
Typical of the Best Western Quality in the Southern CA area. Basically a good buy for the money. This BW was within driving distance of the Beach Communities and LAX. The only complaint was that the pillows where a little overstuffed, but that is a personal preference thing.
“Spent a week with my new granddaughter.....”
Room was clean and well maintained. Outside area and etc appeared to be well taken care of. Had a very nice continental breakfast which really offsets some of the cost. Help was very helpful and friendly .
“Ok, but could be better”
Service was awsome! Breakfast wasn't much to choose from and very crowded. Rooms smelt real bad of ciggerettes.
“Exactly as advertised”
Stayed for one night, a little further from the beach than expected. When booking room thru expedia make sure you request a non-smoking room in the special requests area. luckily when we got there it wasn't busy and they were able to switch us from a very smokey standard room. New non-smoking room was large and pretty comfy.
