Pros: away from city noise but close to bank and restaurants.
only there for breakfast an to sleep. too cold to use pool. good selection of healthy food choices for breakfast. waffel machine a hit with the kids!

Nice hotel, good for independent travellers. Close to the City center with shops and restaurants across the road. Would use again.

Great hotel for a 2 day trip. Well worth the money

Pros: All the Amenities I liked about the Hotel.
Cons: If anything could be improved it would be the eating area.. It was a tight space.. Also the beds could improve in comfort as well..
Location: The location was great.. Plenty of places to eat.. A ralphs' and Sprouts across the street.. Also A coffee shop.. It was great..
Overall A great experience.. A few things could be for sure improved.. A lot of things to do around the hotel..

Perfect location

Pros: The pool area was excellent. The staff was very helpfull. The room size was a good size.
Cons: They need larger pillows. These were the worst I have ever used at any hotel. I should have brought my own or bought one.
Location: The hotel is right by the 101 freeway and the Topanga Canyon Highway. Can head to Malibu or to Hollywood easily.
This hotel is in the perfect location if you want to take Topanga Canyon to Santa Monica and Malibu, or head south on 101 to Universal Studios, Burbank or Hollywood. Amble restaraunts are near by as well as shopping. Everything was great except the pillow were too small for me. Queen Size pillows are a must for a Queen size bed. The staff was excellent.

So many flaws

Pros: Location.
Cons: So many things, but the owner would have to want to improve first.
Location: Good location near shopping and restaurants. Liquor store across street to make stay more tolerable.
Insufficient parking so you have to park away from the hotel in a public lot. Luke warm water. Less then wonderful beds. Terribly disturbing muzak playing outside. Driveway gate closed during day forcing you to go the wrong direction on Ventura and have to unnecessarily deal with crossing traffic.

We are located on the Historic Ventura Blvd, and as such we have limited property space to accommodate an extended-sized parking lot. We do offer Over-Flow Parking, which is paid by us. Over-flow parking is conveniently located across the street from our hotel, in a safe location. We do have lobby music the plays management approved music during the day, and is promptly turned off in the evening hours. I apologize if this was an inconvenience. We are pleased to have our hotel, and maintenance staff here to assist our guests with any concerns. Our guests may call for assistance 24 hours per day and we will always take immediate action to address any concern. We appreciate your feedback and will take action to ensure that we improve our guest experience.

Nice hotel convenient for my activities.

Pros: Very convenient and very clean.
Staff was welcoming. The room was cleaned thoroughly but it took a long time. It wasn't cleaned at 3 pm when I returned to the room. However, staff cooperated and let me delay cleaning until I left 1 hour later. There was a 'ghost light' bouncing through the sconce lighting on the wall by the bed. I told the front desk about it the 1st morning and reported it again when I checked out.

Horrible experience

I had the worst night of my trip at this hotel. Bed sheetings weren't clean and the continental breakfast was ridiculous with no sitting area. Overall did not enjoy it at all

Good Value for the Money

Pros: Cleanliness, décor, comfort, staff.
We booked a room at this Best Western because the hotels that we normally stay at were all booked. I was somewhat concerned about this given my perception of Best Westerns. We were very pleasantly surprised. It is a motor court hotel with the doors opening into the parking lot and it did not have an elevator for the second floor, but all of the rest was very good. The hotel exterior, reception area and rooms had all been redone and looked modestly upscale. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is not the Four Seasons, but you get a clean, updated room and helpful staff for substantially less!
