Hotel is next to relatives condo. convenient.Posted Aug 16, 2014
Cons: Honest room staff!!
Left sandels on floor next to sitting area coffee table. These were not turned into lost and found. Paid $300 for the room and lost $100 sandels. Very glad I also forgot to leave a tip for staff!!

Just a few thingsPosted Jul 14, 2014
Our door was very temperamental and took many tries for it to lock from the outside. Our next door neighbors could be heard very easily through the walls. Our breakfast was below par. The oatmeal looked like watered down Elmer's glue and I had to send it back for a bagel. My only choice was a plain bagel, no variety to choose from. The bagel came with no frills and all in all the breakfast we had lacked presentation and options.

Nice hotel although a bit dated in appearancePosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff were exceptionally pleasant and the food preparation was excellent and fast.
Cons: The rooms feel a bit dated-like staying at my grandmother's apartment in Florida. The pillows on the bed were too firm and high for my taste.
The hotel I usually stay at in the area was sold out and I got a really great rate on Expedia for this hotel. Even though I found the furnishings and appearance to be dated, I found the staff and the food excellent compared to other venues. My bedroom faced Wilshire Blvd on the ground level which resulted in a little more road noise than I prefer. The way the rooms surrounded the courtyard based pool area provided a relaxed, oasis feeling. I just wish my sleeping area had been away from the street. For the price paid, it was exceptional to get a real suite, and I enjoyed being able to work and relax in a separate dining and living room area. If I could continue to access the same initial rate I paid through Expedia, I would definitely book the hotel again. Unfortunately, the rate jumped up by >$100 a night when I tried to book again at the end of July, so I selected a different property.
