Pros: Everything. Quiet setting. Able to walk to shops. Loved the room and the pool on the roof.
Location: I loved that I could walk down a couple blocks and go to Trader Joe's and Starbuck's for coffee.
Loved the pool on the rooftop. The hotel staff was great. Room was comfortable and beautiful.

very nice hotel, very well situated.Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Away from the boulevard traffic, very quiet and comfortable room.
Cons: The staff had a little lack of knowledge/information about the city bus route which could be very helpful for the visitors.
This hotel location was great for the things I wanted to see. After a long day, it was really appreciated to be in a very quit area so we can rest to be ready for the next day. Staff were very friendly and respectful. The hotel was vey clean.

Great hotel, right next to the stripPosted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: Roof pool, size of room / bed, free taxi to local tourist spots
Cons: We were on the ground floor and we had literally no view from the balcony. The balcony was basically a 2m x 2m courtyard with walls on every side.
Location: Great location for the strip. There is a cigar lounge about 1/2 a mile away and lots of good bars within walking distance. Close to Vine Street also
The Chamberlain is a great hotel. Good facilities (gym, pool on roof, parking, free taxi ride within 3 miles) and really close to the strip. The staff were nice and both the room and bathroom were spacious. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotelPosted Mar 31, 2014
This hotel is in the heart of West Hollywood and yet off the main streets so it's nice and quiet. The rooms are nice and big. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Quiet, clean and convenientPosted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Very nice. Tasty happy hour drinks and convenient restaurant with good food.
Cons: 1 of 2 elevators was out of service during our 3 day stay.
Location: Walk to many restaurants, shopping and bars.
Nice overall. Quiet neighborhood but close to active nightlife. Seems odd they did not set up the rooms with the bed near the bathroom and sitting area near the fireplace and balcony. Clean. Friendly staff.

Great Little Boutique HotelPosted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, nice decor, comfortable bed linens, great location, beautiful roof top pool and great banana peanut butter and honey smoothie!
Location: Great location. Walk to Sunset for shops and dining. But not ON Sunset so noise is not a problem.
Had to go to LA for a Design Center trip and stayed a couple of nights. This was a great little place to stay. Our room was obviously a converted one bedroom which was nice and spacious, complete with separate bedroom and living room with a pull out couch. You are in a little residential neighborhood so you will hear cars and people walking around down on the streets below but the nice thing is you can open your windows for some fresh night air or shut them and keep the noise out. The roof top pool is lovely with city views and very chic! The staff was very accommodating and with a little cafe downstairs you don't have to go far for food, if not hitting up the local restaurants. As a designer, of course I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and comfortable linens. Nicely done! I'll be back on my next LA shopping trip.

Clean and surprisingly quiet hotel in W.Hollywood.Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: The really comfortable bed. Good room service menu, (truffle grill cheese sandwich with tomato soup anyone?). Extremely central location.
Cons: Better in room instructions on the fireplace. 375ml options for wine on the room service menu would be nice.
Location: Minutes from the Sunset Strip, The Beverly Center, Beverly Hills, Runyon Canyon, and Hollywood.
The Chamberlain was a pleasant surprise during my last business trip to LA. It's nestled quietly in a residential area but is a 5 minute walk from the intersection of La Cienega and Santa Monica Blvd. It's smack in the middle of West Hollywood with a close proximity to Sunset. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. There is a bistro and bar in the hotel as well as a decent room service menu. The room service hospitality staff were particularly friendly and professional. There was a fireplace in my room, which I couldn't seem to turn off. It made the room a little stuffy. Probably could have remedied with a phone call, but I didn't do it. Also, my room had sunken area where the bed was. It was only two steps, but I suggest one turns on the light if they go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. That could be an unpleasant fall if you're not paying attention. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others.
