Pros: Clean and comfortable, great bar and Dennis the bar tender is great.
Cons: All good
Location: Good location to get to Burbank Studios, Olives restaurant is very good, other good restaurants within 2 miles.
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Good location to Burbank and Toluca Lake areas. Dennis the bar tender is a great host. Olives restaurant is very good.

Lovely hotel

Pros: Surroundings were nice and proximity to Universal Studios at a lower cost than staying at the Sheraton or Hilton.
Cons: Would be nice to have pool on site instead of across the road, although we did not really have time to avail ourselves of the pool.
Location: If we had time there were studio tours to do. Universal Studios was very close and the shuttle service by the hotel was great.
Lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant were really nice with the food excellent. I would certainly come back. Shuttle service was available to take us to Universal Studios at no cost. Pool was in an adjoining hotel, so that was a bit of a draw back.

Rooms were fantastic, clean, great amenities. Outside the room/lobby/exterior were merely adequate. Overall, very good, and we would stay again.

Nice hotel. Close to universal studio (4 miles). The staff is friendly and helpfull. Wifi is limited to 3 users for a room and it is easy to make a mistake and pay additional wifi fee.

Pros: The hotel was very pretty and clean. The bathroom was very modern and big.
Location: The hotel is very close to Warner Studios and easy access to main highways in Burbank.
The hotel was extremely nice and modern. There isn't much to do right where the hotel is located, but about 1 mile away is a nice street with restaurants and shops and a mall. Unfortunately we didn't discover it until our last night there. I wished that the hotel staff would have told us about it when we asked about places to eat.

Disappointed. The room smelled of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. We used our debit card because we get cash back, and even though the room was clean and not damaged when we checked out, (they went up and checked it before they let us check out!) and the room was paid for through Expedia, they will be keeping $100 for 30 days for "incidentals"! What! We travel a lot, and we have NEVER had this happen!

Old & Dirty

The carpet was old and dirty, when you walk on it after washing your feet your feet would get black and dirty again. There was paint peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom. The room smelled like they try to cover up cigarette smell. (Even though it was non smoking) the front desk staff had terrible attitudes. I would Never recommend this hotel nor will I stay again here.

Mixed experience

The hotel is well located and has nice modern bathrooms, but the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. We had so many problems with our reservation, and only after an extensive appeal to the manager were we placed in an acceptable room. It's hard to imagine that anyone would think people would want to split their family up over two non-adjoining rooms that open into the hotel lobby, right behind the front desk! Our reservation requested 2 connecting standard rooms and we were told by Hotels.com when we made the reservation that it's not guaranteed, but at the Anabelle we learned it's not even possible unless you pay for an upgrade to the Junior suite. Very poor communication of amenities and features while making reservations. I also suggested to the hotel that they discontinue their practice of asking for the children's names; the front desk tried to insist that they need to know our children's names, which I find very odd.
