“Comfort Inn LaBrea, Hollywood”

From the exterior I was not expecting much, when I checked in I was pleasantly suprised. The bed was nice the room was clean, it was not the ritz but I have stayed in plenty worse rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help with recommendations. I had pleasant experiences with everyone I ran across, be it a good morning or a quick pleasant chat. The location was great for hollywood and I would definitely stay there again

“Best budget hotel for a trip to Hollywood!”

It's two blocks from the Hollywood strip, so you can park (for free!) and walk to the tourist sites. There's free internet, a decent breakfast (sausage, donuts, toast, hard boiled eggs, fruit), and the rooms were nice and clean. I really liked the staff I got to meet, particularly the one working day time who made friends with my baby and seemed genuinely sad to see us go. The service was fantastic, the housekeeping was great (they even folded our pajamas!), and we look forward to staying there again the next time we are in LA. Only down sides: the bed was a firmer mattress than I'd usually prefer, and the internet was sometimes flaky.

“convenient location & affordable price”

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. I decided to come back with my girlfriends because the Staff is friendly & its in a convenient location. Its near hollywood blvd and there's plenty of places nearby to eat. The price is also afforadable compared to other hotels nearby. The rooms are also really nice & comfortable!

“Good Location, Neighborhood not the greatest. But felt safe!”

Room was small for 4 people, bathroom faucet constantly was leaking. Had to move the furniture around to plug in refrigerator. Found out later that there was another refrigerator in the dresser. Not enough dressers for your clothes. Wound up keeping the clothes in the luggage. Bathroom outlet did not work, nor was there enough plugs in the room. Hotel Staff was friendly. Hotel rooms were clean. The room for the free continental breakfast was small, but adequate. Free continental breakfast was ok! You were able to make your own waffles if you can get to the waffle iron. Parking spaces in lot were small and it was tough to get across Sunset Blvd to make a left turn, wound up make only right turns around hotel. The hotel location was a 5-10 minute walk to Hollywood Blvd and the Hollywood walk of Fame. This was convenient! Overall it was an OK vacation. Weather was beautiful all week!

“Horrible hotel”

There was no privacy. You could see through the doors, a window was left open, staff was very unfriendly. If you were staying by yourself very unsafe. I would never stay there again, I would rather stay 100 miles away than stay there again.

“Location is everything”

++ Location is just a block away from the walk of fame and subway station. Location is everything, if you only have one day to spend. -/- Inconviency caused by hotel renovation going on, this was not indicated on the website. Unfriendly staff. Very small rooms, cramped with unnecessary furniture and much traffic noise. Would not recommend to stay in this hotel for longer than 1 day.

“Can't wait to go back!!!!”

The service was great. We are use to staying in higher end and you normally have a concierge where we stay. However, the front desk associate was always more then willing to assist and make any needed arrangements for us. It truly was a great experience. Not to mention if you are going to see stars...about 6 miles away is the hot spots that TMZ is always at. I was very surprised at how nice and well kept the hotel was. My only complaint was that the sink hot water was hotter then the shower water. Other then that...no need to knock this hotel. Great price and great service. Very pleased with entire package. This was our first time using Expedia and I will contiue to do so in the future.

i am always welcomed by Arnisur the manager who is very friendly and always with a smile. i travel to LA once a month for work and since the first time i stayed there i have never wanted to stay at any other hotel. great location, rooms are always clean n smell great! the entire staff is friendly and breakfast is tasty and lite. i will continue my business there and def recommend it!!
